Bannerlord thread

1 DAY, 13 HOURS, 33 MINUTES, and 21 SECONDS UNTIL WE RAID!

Multiplayer desperately needs team damage. Like 25% at least.

Is the multiplayer going to be good, or is the focus mostly on singleplayer?

>developed for over 5 years
>still releases it as early access

Just get the expansion or updated version or whatever the fuck they'll call Warband this time around. No use buying a shitty bug filled beta

There isnt?

FUCK TEAMDAMGE
t.500 hours in mordhau

If you played Mordhau a lot then it should be clear to you why it's important. It doesn't need to be full damage so that xXxSephirothxXx can't cut you in half from behind with his zwei from full health. But without it mass combat devolves down to a bunch of people with big weapons randomly swinging and humping each other.

>60 gbs
>won't run on my pc for min requirements
I'm sorry bros

RIP user

>But without it mass combat devolves down to a bunch of people with big weapons randomly swinging and humping each other
Adding hitstop on teammates helps with that problem.

It's harvesting season bet u didn kno that

multiplayer a shit
>playing M&B for its cheesy ass "combat"

Hmmm. I wish the combat was more like Mordhau. I really like the Combat and weapons in Mordhau but the rest of that game is shit.

I don't know whether I should buy it now or wait. How long do you think it'll be in early access?

its just gunna be a reskinned M&B 1 with a gfx mod.

What game allows you do peform an actually-effective pikewall?

It has team damage, you are just only playing tdm which does need it imo

Are you getting your badges user?

This game will be a huge disappointment prove me wrong

>NOT INCLUDED
>>FORMING YOUR OWN KINGDOM
Well that's fine as long as you can marry in-
>>WEAPON CUSTOMISATION/CRAFTING
aw...

Its going to be exactly like Warband except with prettier graphics and less janky animations.
Its absolutely not going to live up to the hype and will only start to be fun when the russian autists and polacks start releasing mods that enhance the barebones base game.

Warband is already fun user

how much will be the price? I expect at least 15 dollars because of how much time we wasted waiting

Calm down, it's gonna be $4,99.

No seriously, how much?

$40

fucking turkish jews

You get 20% off

IT'S ALMOST HARVESTING SEASON

There's no chance that Bannerlord will be a disappointment unless it's a broken game. The only thing the fanbase asked of them is to make Warband with more features and better graphics.

what price will it be?

does it have single player campaign?

whats setting, europe?

>price
Probably like $50, but you get a 10% discount week 1-2 and if you own warband/older mountain blade you get another 10%.
>does it have SP
SP is the main part at the minute.
>setting?
It's noteurope. The name is Calradia, and the factions are loosely based on European entities; you have notmongols, notarabs, notfrance and notvikings, etc.

Thanks. For that price I'll prob pick it up at later date, as I'll be playing RE3 and FF7R for some time.

Making this pasta for all the "wtf is this" people in these threads.

>WHAT IS BANNERLORD?
Long awaited sequel to Mount and Blade: Warband
>GAMEPLAY?
First/third person RPG where you fight in a medieval setting as whatever role you choose in that world.
>COMBAT?
Fun and fast-paced directional combat, however fighting can be anything from duels to tournaments to skirmishes to huge battles with hundreds of others all fighting.
>STORY?
The "story" is your own, you're carving a place for yourself in this Medieval World. However Bannerlord reportedly has an actual structured set of main quests to follow. Usually the ultimate goal is to carve out your own kingdom and rule the continent.
>WHAT ELSE
A list of other things;

>Battles with hundreds on each side, you can either be a footsoldier or a commander
>Economy and trade which you can manage and influence
>Own fiefs which can be everything from shitty farming villages to castle to large cities, all of which can be upgraded and managed
>Clan system; you have a dynasty, you have heirs. Permadeath-if you die, your heir takes over.
>Several factions many of which are unique in style, inspired by real world nations such as the Mongols, Vikings, Medieval France, etc
>You can serve as a vassal and work your way up the hierarchy and marry into noble families
>You can also say fuck that and just play a merchant/bandit/sellsword

The game is essentially the best medieval sandbox out there. While its fun on its own, the potential for modding in future-going by warband-is monumental.

The best way to think of Warband is as a Total War Game except you get to play in the battles, and you have a lot more to do other than just fighting. Bannerlord could be summed up as Total War+RPG+CK2

>being american
I'm sorry, user.

I should be able to run Bannerlord no problem, right?

Attached: muh specs.png (683x540, 73.15K)

Are the listed minimum requirements the actual minimum requirements or does it run like complete shit on low-end machines?

>SEVERAL MINOR FACTIONS
Has their been a mention of what they are?

It's 50$ before discount actually

I believe they're literally just small localised factions. Kind of like how you get specific types of bandits in different areas (Sea Raiders, Forest Bandits, etc) I think these are just small factions with their own leaders and such. Devs said you can "ally" them though so really who the fuck knows.
