Good answers
Doom 3 isn't THAT shit. By no means a great game, but it's not HDTF either

>Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan = Dark Souls
>Broly – Second Coming = Dark Souls 2
>Bio-Broly = Dark Souls 3

Donkey Kong Country 2

elden ring+db super broly hopefully

Come on, fromsoft's last game was pretty good. I'm sure this one will be pretty good too.

Was that any good? New Dragonball seems very very dumb.

Dark Souls 3 was better than two though?

It's the best overall DB film and the only good thing to come from Super. You can enjoy it without watching the new anime.

Neat, I'll check it out.

Dark Souls is absurdly overrated with some of the worst action in its genre, ever, and is only remembered for the edge factor?

>tfw the fucking brass section kicks in over the final fight

OP here. I finished DBZ and this movie last night, should I watch GT or Super next?

It's absolutely amazing, basically the only thing you need to know if you haven't watched Super is the following:
Gods are the new top tier next level beings, Goku & Vegeta can tap into a bit of this power and their hair goes red, then they can go super saiyan with that and their hair goes blue.
Also Frieza is given his life back and isn't even that bad of a dude anymore because THE POWER OF TEAMWORK!!!! in the last part of the anime before the movie aired

Well, he IS that bad of a dude. He's just realized it's really not smart to fuck with Earth anymore and has given up the whole vengeance upon monkeys deap.

Why would you watch Bio Broly?
>watch
You already started off wrong so do whatever

Any JRPG that use a boss sprite as a regular enemy later on.

Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Either works. GT has prettier backgrounds and scenery, but obscenely worse writing and the shittiest fights in the franchise. Super's writing is better (not good but better) and has moderately more interesting fights and enemies, but the art is amateur hour and uses nearly as much stock footage as GT outside of climaxes.

Not OP, but I always wanted to get into the original DB manga but it apparently went through the same censorship/localization issues as the anime. Is there a definitive translation for burgers?

Was literally about to post this. Third Birthday might look nice but man...

There’s still a few movies I haven’t seen yet, Bio-Broly being one of them. And sorry but I’m just not really into manga really. I don’t have anything against it but I’d rather see the action on screen.

I think I’ll go with GT just because it came out first

DB had Bulma's breasts censored in later rereleases of the Viz volumes, but you can find scans of the original release easily. I've not heard of Z being censored.
I guess as long as you don't become a pathetic GTfag you're fine.

Super manages to be worse than GT in many ways.

Where can you read the manga online for free?

Super is the current, more "canon" continuation. GT isn't great but it has some decent moments, like much of the Baby arc is decent and the final episode is great, as is the GT movie/special Heroe's Legacy. For Super, watch the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F movies, the anime's first two arcs are retellings of those movies without adding anything of value, just padding time with shit animation, and power through the rest to watch the ToP and Broly.

Dark Souls 2 of course.

Since you're asking something like that I guess you wouldn't even know how to download volumes. Just google it and there's dozens of sites you can read manga from.

Dark Souls 3, of course
both are the third in their respective story arcs

Super has higher peaks than GT, both with characters and fighting, but it also dips lower than anything in GT as well with the shit writing and art style, especially the writing in the Black arc.

DBS Broly = Demon Souls

Is Broly currently the last thing to happen in the show or did the movie come out while the show was still on and Broly appears in the show afterwards?

Also is it supposed to be implied that the last 3 or 4 episodes of DBZ happen AFTER all the crazy shit that goes down in DBS? I’ve seen weird answers online regarding this

you people wont like it but God Hand

>more "canon" continuation
That's a weird way of putting it. It /is/ the canon continuation. It's not more canon than GT since GT isn't canon in the first place.

GT has good animations. That's all I can say about that. Oh and Goku SS4 transformation is kino.

The only good part of GT is the early parts of the Baby arc, it's refreshing to see a villain who not only has sympathetic motives, but he also completely out smarts the z fighters at every turn

later on he turns into a retard & wants to take over the universe for some reason

The manga continues after the movie.
>Also is it supposed to be implied that the last 3 or 4 episodes of DBZ happen AFTER all the crazy shit that goes down in DBS?
Yes, Super takes place within the 10 yrs between the Buu arc and End of Z.

Viewtiful Joe 2

I recently rewatched GT (this time in original jap) and was surprised at how good the music was. The voice acting is also really well done. The last episode really hit me in the feels. It just felt like a proper send off for Goku and the dragon balls, compared to what we now have with Super
Also just my opinion, but the scene where Goku achieves SSJ4 is one of the best scenes in the entire franchise. Like the above user said, that shit was absolute KINO

Baby Vegeta was also a rad character in Tenkiachi. Are any of the new DBZ games done in the same style as the Tenkaichi ones?

It is the most recent thing in canon besides the Moro arc, which is ongoing and currently manga-exclusive. Animation-wise, DB Super Broly is the most recent thing in canon. As for the end of DBZ, there has not been any concrete answers, but there's some hints it may possibly change. Timeline-wise it's close to 10 years after Buu, to the point of Bulma saying it'd been five years since they'd seen each other not make sense anymore; coupled with the manga actually having Goku seeing Uub before the ToP and it may or may not be retconned. Not much of an answer but that's because we don't have any yet. I'm sure the Moro arc's ending will give us something more to consider.
I agree but you'd be surprised by how many people latch on to GT due to liking it more. It doesn't help that it was an official animation directly after the ending of DBZ while Super started in the 10 year gap before GT would have happened.

I know they're still saying this but trying to tie the end of dbz and uub back into super is pure silliness.

That DS Lufia game

Bio-Broly > Second Coming
fite me

I wish they would have just kept Broly's first movie cannon but forget about the other two. I liked that origin story better.

There's literally nothing redeemable about bio broly

Yes and no. Freeza is a bad dude and not given up on his revenge he just HAD to work with Goku and U7 if he wanted to live. He knows there's dudes like Beerus who can easily erase him on the spot AND Beerus in particular hang out with an angel who is even stronger. Just because Freeza had some teamwork with Goku doesn't mean he has forgotten the beating Goku put on him on Namek.

>I liked that origin story better.
Not to mention, Super's telling of the Broly story made Bardock into nuBardock

18 and Mr. Satan are more interesting than videl and jobhan

Second Coming had that scene where Gohan tried to stop Broly with a punch to the face and Broly completely tanked it. At least that was cool.

I can't think of a single good or cool scene in the entirety of Bio-Broly.

OP here, I completely agree. Bio-Broly was really fun with the chemistry between the characters like 18 and Mr. Satan. The 2nd ones ending was absolutely retarded

Yea, I guess we'll see what they do if they ever move past EoZ. Uub was shown in the manga so he's still remembered.

>Are any of the new DBZ games done in the same style as the Tenkaichi ones?
Sadly no. Some idiots may say Xenoverse, but that's absolutely not true.

Yeah it's getting harder to tie it in, especially with stupid shit like pic related. They've already pushed aside the five years Bulma mentioned where she hasn't seen Goku.

I much prefer the new Broly, both his design and his origin being more tragic, plus actually watching him grow from surprisingly talented but weak to the overpowered monster we know was a fun ride. But I also hated the fact that they went with DB Minus and Nu Bardock, both of which I hate with a burning passion. Overall the movie is great and Broly himself is good, but the retconning sucks as always.

They should have retconned EOZ
