One the predator gets some of the later gear it becomes very unbalanced in the pred's favour. Since I got the combistick, I've only not one once as the pred and that's because one guy escaped.

Neither do the predators in this. They've got manually aimed water balloon launchers.

Predator sucks until he unlocks the weapons. problem is because he sucks no one can win with him to unlock more shit and no one wants to play him because he sucks. Objectives could have been forced the team to split up to counter this but the devs are retarded idk

Levelling up is the same across the Fireteam and the Pred. You can just play Fireteam until you unlock the good stuff.

after playing ~15 matches as humans and about ~5 as the pred here's my Gameplay Impressions™

-cons
>matchmaking bug is kinda fucked, hopefully they fix it at launch
>various bugs that need to be fixed, like not getting any rewards at the end of a round
>a bit janky
>kinda ugly on PS4 but you can find matches pretty quick, dead on PC but looks real nice
>crossplay is iffy
>balance is out of whack and predator is a bit weak, cloak sucks and you're super loud
>humans are on the stronger side, moreso with team coordination

>pretty damn fun to play as both sides
>lots of weapons and shit to unlock

>it's only 30 bucks

When I got the combistick it definitely helped. But I still can’t put down a fireteam of four good shots that stick together.

Sure, if they all have sight of one another. But once you get everything unlocked, you can lock down two of the fireteam and the combistick takes about three hits to down most classes.

Why are all the maps day time? Who wants to hunt humans in broad daylight what kind of shit is this?

A God awful pile of shit that will never get you in a full match, if at all, because A) no one is playing and B) the servers and netcode are disastrously bad. It also has the graphics of a game from 2006 if it were considered ugly for that year. It literally hurts to look at with the mix of extreme jaggies and disgusting brightness/saturation. 4/10 game at the very best.

This is easily one of the worst games I've played in a long, long time. Just fucking wow, I'm kind of amazed. It somehow makes the Friday the 13th game they did before look decent. This shit is a trainwreck.

Ya, I checked to see if EGS has settings I wasn't aware of, but it doesn't. The games settings are insanely minimal too, not allowing graphics tweaking. Also, it defaults to console controls, and doesn't have all functions mapped for keyboards. Pretty obvious who the intended audience is.

In its current state, this game is like 5/10, maybe a 6 when things are working correctly. Matchmaking is completely fucking broken at the moment, though the devs say it's a bug they intend to fix. It's balance is all over the place, with huge power gaps between gear. If the Predator isn't constantly heckling you, it's boring as fuck, but if the Predator is even half way decent, you won't be in game for more than a minute.

the female predator is literally the sole positive about this game, i could never have imagined just how terrible it would turn out

AvP 2010 did this better even. This game is absolute trash, the definition of shovelware. I'd say I'm disappointed, but I never expected otherwise.
