Sekiro, first playthrough (NG w/Demon Bell). I'm enjoying the shit out of it. Love the posture/combat system, and have enjoyed the challenge all the way through. Beat Demon of Hatred yesterday and the only boss I have left is Sword Saint. Killed all the minibosses, too. I'm just doing some farming before NG+ to get skills I want and a bit more attack power. Can't wait to fight bosses again, especially the ones I handled easily to see if I can do it again.

It's really satisfying how the meat deforms off enemies as you shoot them. It's really a shame how little you get to appreciate it because so much shooting is at weak spots.

Pretty great. Woke up this morning determined that today I was gonna bench 110kg and beat the Owl in Sekiro. Nailed both. Will relax and play some more before EATAN and WATCHAN

First playthrough for me too. Only complaint I have about posture system is that during some bossfights it seems like the optimal approach is to just forget all about it and kite them around while chipping away at their health. Seems self-contradictory to me. Maybe I'm just bad though

Been here since ‘09 but I really didn’t start browsing Yas Forums until around a few years ago. I got into Pixies first and that opened up a plethora of other great music for me. A single $1200 is barely rent for me. I'll be okay because I make decent money; in fact I am setting a little aside to help family or friends if need be. One of my roommates is out of work entirely because of this, and another just got furloughed and required to take PTO for two weeks after working from home the last two. You definitely need longer-term solutions and a single check does not do that. Lots of cities (including mine) have implemented eviction moratoria, but I think they should go further and do something like mandate rent repayment timelines of a minimum of 60-120 days after people can return to work. Dunno, your job sounds intense, especially with the work that's not your scope and the 7-day schedules. What do you do?

I see that argument. I killed the Juzou clones that way, with a little parrying thrown in for fun. But most times I have tried to play against that instinct and simply learn the bosses. I kept seeing people say that ape gave them trouble, but I just popped Ako's sugar and got on him with attacks and close-range parrying until he was stunned, had him to his second phase in a minute or so and beat him third try. I also beat Lady Butterfly first go by just riding her ass, parrying, and knocking her out of the air with shurikens. I found myself learning to adjust simply by forcing myself to fight, even against mobs. I'd recommend practicing more with the purple ninjas and ministry gun/red dual-sword niggas. Did you just beat Owl or Owl (Father)? If former, try latter fight as aggressive and parry/mikiri/counter focused as possible. Really satisfying if you do.

I still consider Pixies my favorite band in spite of their new albums they keep shitting out. I would give anything to see Battles live though. It’s nice to know they can still play their older stuff without Dave and Tyondai and not be hindered by it. And I fucking love Ween! I’ve been listening to a lot of Quebec and White Pepper lately

I just finished the soul society arc and I quite liked it although it wasn't what I was expecting. I think I prefer them fight Hollows to other Soul Reapers and there wasn't enough screen time for Ichigo.

I'm going to skip the block of filler and keep going tonight. People on Yas Forums told me the other arcs might be more what I'm looking for. Also Rukia is my waifu.
