You're thoughts on this game?

I've just finished my first 30 days in XIV and I have to say its the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on a video game.
I will not be subbing again. I would get a refund if I could.
If you like dress up and ERP its great(you are a faggot), but if you want an actual game you are going to be sorely disappointed.

The animations are complete and total dog shit. We are talking PS1 level animations.
All the bosses are just "dont stand in shit".
The classes all have too many buttons that do the same thing(my class Dragoon has almost 20 buttons in its basic rotation).
The abilities aren't even interesting either, they are designed to be strictly used one after another in a VERY specific order. So specific that your next abilitiy will light up with an outline on the HUD/Action bar.
Everyone is ERPing and pretending to be girls CONSTANTLY. They erp in the general channels, they erp in your FC channel(I joined 7 different FCs and they were all ERPing non-stop).
Most people actively talk about being trans and taking pills.
One person was discussing how they will cut their leg, collect the blood, and inject it into their anus to simulate a menstrual cycle.
I haven't wasted any time on professions, but if the rest of the game is any indicator its probably not good.
The leveling is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in a video game.
There are like 5 different types of quests you do, then they just repeat with different flavor text, you do these same 5 quests 1000 times each(I am not joking).
The story is total garbage
Everything takes place in tiny instances.
Every dungeon is a very narrow hallway with bosses living in circular arenas.
None of the male characters look masculine, but instead are faggy little cunts.

To be fair, ShB has completely killed any and all of the combat in the game, the buttons used to have slightly more variety. It's probably not going to get better.

People who immediately buy skip potions will keep their sprout icon and you can usually see it based on their equipment since they'll be wearing full unupgraded scaevan with one level 375 ring

I'm trying to come up with an explanation.

I get every job's level to an expansion's level cap before moving onto the next expansion, and I still had my sprout icon until I got to the Crystarium.

I never really learned how to play each job until I leveled Trusts, but still learned mechanics.

Are they bad at their job or at the duty?

Leveling Monk currently and hit lv50. While I realize openers and shit aren't particularly important before level cap I still think I should have a basic grasp of how each job works at the 50/60/70 thresholds, and so I ask: how much do Perfect Balance and Dragon Kick change how the job works? I've been opening up fights with PB into Twin Snakes (for the damage buff) and Demolish plus a few Snap Punches (for the DoT+Greased Lightning skillspeed buffs), but the biggest sources of damage now seem to be Dragon Kick-buffed Bootshines.

Getting fan dance 3 makes DNC so much more satisfying, it's still brain dead easy but god damn. also it feels like the abilities are just straight up lying to you with the proc chances until you get to 70

SAM was perfect in Stormblood and the only bad change they made was make Hagakure kind of useless but I wouldn't say the job is worse now.

That's BA in a nutshell. Every fight is pretty easy until AV and Ozma. Ozma way moreso. I loved BA and have 15+ clears but there's only so many times a braindead fucklet can ruin two hours for 40 people before you hang up your coat

Congrats you're doing the 50 rotation, besides a couple of moves removed, dont fret or even worry about a rotation yet.

The fact that you even care about knowing/learning a rotation makes you better than most of the FF playerbase, shit aint that deep user.

I don't understand why they didn't just take the Ronso and threw them in. It worked for the bunnies.

Would take a lot more work to adjust all the armors to an actually unique body type. My guess at least, either way I'm profoundly unhappy with the hrothgar's body shape.

Got into it a few weeks ago and I think I'm close to dealing with the archbishop in HW. Leveled a dragoon to 61, warrior to 57, and dark knight to 51. Overall I'm enjoying it all, but ARR was indeed a bit of a slog at times with how much pointless running around you do.

Gonna stick with it even more and maybe level up a samurai, monk, or ninja for stormblood.

Their posture bothers me much more than the body shape. They look okayish when you make them do a pose that has them actually stand upright.
