Her being speciesist (?) made her a character that is remembered even today. I personally cannot even remember most of the safe and wholesome dialogues that companions had in 2 or 3.

Her being controversial made her interesting, but nowadays any controversial characters are deemed "problematic" and canned.

Garrus' "reach and flexibility". Tali is a blank. I never really cared for her type.

Not really. The fact that managed to stay on their feet after the turians initial assault was the impressive thing, they ostensibly got their shit pushed in on any military and strategic level, which is part of why there is was such a drive to catch up militarily.

It wasn't magic, it was numbers and ferocity. The Turians kicked the shit out of the humans in the first few battles and thought they had subjugated them. Then the humans sent out the whole fucking fleet and BTFO of them.

The war lasted 3 months, humans were getting so fucked up the ass, that the asari stepped in, deployed mass blowjobs across the entire Turian military to convince them to step down and avoid wiping humanity. The war was so one sided, it was almost funny. If you weren't human.

The war never reached full intergalactic war stage.
Turians attacked that one planet with a tiny force since to them it wasn't a war, it was a first contact action, and thought that they had defeated all of the human forces. They got caught by surprise by another human fleet who kicked them out of that planet.
Had the council not stepped in there's no questiont that the Turians would've won. Hell, even during present times in the ME universe they would still win.
