The only thing your take priority in is release dates for some titles, but that's because your standards are so low that devs barely have to spend any time working on console versions. Then you get 30 FPS checkboards with drops to 25 and scream GOTY while PChads would trash something like that to the ground.

I switched to PC 2 years ago although still play on consoles. PC as hardware is better due to freedom and power, but still consoles have better exclusives. If you don't pirate consoles are cheaper, PC parts are overpriced these days.

Even underbaked port runs better than the console version, nigger, that's the point. Game runs at 30 FPS on console and they say it's good, because the framerate is steady. Meanwhile if the game runs below 60 FPS on PC on average hardware (RX 580 / GTX 1060) it's trashed to the ground as bad port. the worst part about being console only is feeling like you really just own a low-tier PC with parental controls on that prevent you from fully owning the device. Not to mention basic features like bluetooth compatibility, additional storage, customization are still really weak. I'm trying to get a PC this year because ultimately consoles just feel gimped

Most PC plebs also only play LoL/CS/Dota, just like most console players only play CoD and FIFA. Out of those who actually play different games, majority has the hardware to support it.

I was PC-only for most of the 2010s, then bought a Switch this year. Now I just choose a platform for each individual game I want to play.
Ironically, I don't really care about the Nintendo exclusives, I mostly liked the format.

PC has a higher upfront cost but is cheaper in the long run while consoles get you on recurring spending and other shit that's often literally free on PC.

I have both my PC and PS4. I generally like owning games physical and getting cheap games second hand.

They may play them, but they are fucking awful at them. Yas Forums can be hit or miss with games, but stuff like beta mmos or terraria fresh start servers are usually a ton of fun, despite the occasional meme spammer or faggot looking to erp. And with Yas Forums you usually get pretty competent players.

With Sea of Thieves I have resorted to playing with people from the reddit discord, since no one on Yas Forums or /vg/ talks about it, and playing with randoms is always just people with open mics with like 19 dogs and arguing parents. While it has been a step above open crew, every person I have played with is bad at the game, an annoying meme saying faggot to the point where they say twitch emotes out loud, but at the same time also no fun allowed if you want to do any side content or just dick with people. They want the most efficient farm routes, anything that isn't giving current rewards is a waste of time and you get brigged or they leave. Fuck those guys.
