That looks pretty nice overall, but it's disingenuous to pretend that there isn't an obvious compromise of visual fidelity going on.
Look at the LOD for the trees, you can clearly see the sharp dropoff after even a short distance, such to the point that mountains in the back are completely bare, and their terrain LOD looks quite low res too, a very poor approximation of detail.
