im assuming iga is the guy behind SotN? while i liked the game, i do sort of resent it for killing the classic style and arguably the action platformer in general, since most games under the genre "platformer" since have been casualized metroidvania shit or retarded little big planet clones, from my experience. what i would give for another classicvania, or even a well-put-together pure platformer

I watched the first season because it seemed like it would be good, and it mostly was, then I started the second season thinking of the first.
Probably not going to watch the third after how bad the 2nd one was

IGA was the assistant director for SotN. The head director was the same guy who did Rondo of Blood. After SotN, IGA took over the entire Castlevania IP. And just kept milking the SotN formula. As well as fucking up the Castlevania lore and story so bad, they had to reboot it. Twice.

I didn't watch anything after the first season. Because I can recognize the shitty modern TV formula from a mile away. The first and last episodes were the only thing that had actual plot. The middle episodes were just "lol he said fuck and kicked a guy in the nuts" and "gore because we need to make it M rated." And just like GoT, people are finally starting to notice this shitty formula in season 3.
