both were made as a crossover of the developer's other titles to celebrate their 5 and 10 year anniversary as a doujin circle.
200% is kinda mediocre and the bulk of the appeal is from having known the characters and seeing them interact.

and yet the interaction was pretty much garbage for 99% of the game. The only good interacting was the game's ending hinting at SUGURI 3 aka Alicianrone. The worst thing about that game was introducing the whole "meme goddess" shit that infected 100% Orange Juice and newfags who never played another Orange_Juice game ate that shit up and wanted more shitty meme events.

Anime is cool and all, but when that is literally the only aspect of a game that's appealing, and not the gameplay itself, you'd have to be a mindless drone to enjoy it.
Different guy, but I've always enjoyed trying to pull off snasty stuff in OJ. If you turn off some of the gayer RNG like home roulette, there's actually an amount of strategy to it.
It does boil down to rolling dice though, so I could see how someone wouldn't like it.

It does baffle me how 100%OJ got as popular as it did. I guess it can make a fun social experience due to the sheer unpredictability of it and the low barrier of entry, but most of the people I've seen obsessed with the game barely talk or chat while playing and just grind the meaningless shit away. I kind of regret buying it.

The problem with sugu2 is that it's been out fir forever with practically dead multiplayer, so the few people who do play it have been playing it for a very long time and have a much higher skill level than me, to the point at which I can't win a single round or really even get better by playing against them. I'm forced to either play arcade and practice agaisnt bots who are laughably easy or bug friends who have it played before to buy it and play for like 2 weeks until they drop the game.

It's a really simple game, honestly. Just dash through lasers and use projectiles against projectiles, that's it.

Not from what I've read. There's a ton of techs and combos to know and practice if you ever want to actually play against people who play regularly

Suguri 2 is better than Suguri X for a whole lot of reasons. Mainly controls.

The only good thing AoS2 has better than AoSX is more characters, better graphics, and better control. Everything else is literally a downgrade. Combat is just spam shit afar for meter and matches take 3 times more than before. Balance is shit and that's saying something since QP in AoSX is the most broken shit. AoS2 doesn't have someone as broken as QP, but it has worse balance by a long mile.

Reminder that Fernet is unironically the best character in 100% OJ. Due to her extremely high durability a Fernet player with acess to life restoration cards is almost impossible to stop when they're going for a star norma win, and even if you try you're just forfeiting your own victory in favor of stopping theirs because it's the only thing you'll do for the whole match. The only way she loses is on battlefield/air raid maps.
