It's Gran as in Grancypher. Yes Grancypher not Grandcypher because the name of the ship in it's mother tongue is グランサイファー which has no fucking D in it. No just because the MC's name also happens to be Gran doesn't mean the title is refering to him because you can change his name to whatever you want.
