What was the worst Fallout DLC?
What was the worst Fallout DLC?
The Alaska one
Operation Anchorage.
Hey, y'ever play Metal Gear Solid? Y'ever play Half-Life? What if... using the gameryo engine... we merged them together!!
That one. Fuck I was bored
This.
it was out of place and felt unfinished asf, also iirc you dont get to keep any of the stuff in the dlc except from a power armor
The OP stealth armor you got was lit tho
Best one for 3 is Point Lookout, best for NV is either Old World Blues or Lonesome Road. Worst is Zeta for 3 and Dead Money for NV.
Fallout 3 sucked so much ass it's unbelievable
Fuck Bethesda
At the very least it didn't completely assfuck the fallout world like Zeta.
dead money was pretty good last i remember
The gauss rifle was the only good thing to come from this.
It's still a better alien game than 90% of crap on the market
i think id pretty much agree with this list except the worst one for NV is most definitely Honest Hearts, weakest story out of all the DLC for the game and the location sucks, only good thing about it is the loot chest you get at the end
I wish the modding community for fallout 3 wasn't dead
All of these, especially the building ones, with the exception of Automatron and FAH HABAH.
Horse armor.
The only good things in LR for me was Red Glare, SMMG, and the riot armors. Everything else can fuck off, except maybe the arc welder and auto stimpaks.
Also, DM is best DLC, faggot.
Super based and redpilled
>Lonesome Road best
>Dead Money worst
Kill yourself, you worthless shitstain
What if we like.... made DLCs for a feature that the majority of players wouldn't even be interested in lmao?
What if the few things that would be good for bases like elevators were buggy broken shit too .. haha Todd you are wild
All of Fallout 4 missions DLCs are fucking awful except the vault 88 one (and the robot making one if that counts)
take a break from this place, you're being pathetic
Every single FO NV DLC was ass. Yet it's fans will felate anything that lets them one point in to automatically skip portions of the game.
Honest Hearts had so much potential. I guess that's why it collapsed under the weight of expectations. Old World Blues definitely the best though.
For 3, Mothership Zeta but that's because I love scifi shit. The Pitt got old real fast for me and it was a slog.
I see nothing about Mothership Zeta that completely fucks the world. There were always alien ships and weapons in the previous two games. Oh "those were random encounters and not canonical," okay, sure.
And if you suggest that the aliens needed military launch codes from some rando general to fake a nuclear war... You seem to have forgotten that they had giant lasers that could level a third of Canada.
>rpg
>with no roleplaying
That's lonesome road!
Thanks CA!
Chink Stealth suit is crazy overpowered.
FO3 essentially has 6 difficulties. Very Hard, Hard, Normal, Easy, Very Easy and Chinese Stealth Suit.
Considering how shit Nuka world was, that was maybe for the best.
Far Harbour was alright though, it was almost like I was playing a fallout game.
Nuka World, no contest
Aliens started the great war
I think it's the aliens starting the war that people take issue with. I'm of the mind that the pre-war world isn't too important to the current setting of Fallout, but the reasons as to why it started int he first place are an interesting idea to explore.
What Mothership Zeta did was essentially make the whole idea of the war a joke because lmao aliens did it.
But the electric sword was RAD
>not Reddit World Blues
OWB did Beth fallout better than Bethesda.
This DLC was so pointless & boring it's unforgivable.
>here's an exercise bike for producing electricity
>also here's a soda fountain
>that's it
Fallout 4 made water purifiers easily built, wtf was the point of fallout 1 then?
Lonsesome Road
I played and beat it but for some damn reason I can't remember a single thing about it.
It must have been incredibly forgettable if that is the case because I have a great memory when it comes to games I've played.
game shits itiself on w10 even without mods, its hard to do it
Fallout 4 isn't canon.
It's just all a bit pointless, it's just a VR training session.
is it really that bad? I was going to start a new playthrough but I haven't played since I upgraded to windows 10.
Works fine on my machine.
>Technology progresses over time
They spoke of him as a mythical leader but he was nothing more than a mummy that can shoot.
mothership zeta has the best character in fallout though
>far harbor
only redeeming part of fallout 4
All the tribal chems you could cook up were also pretty choice.
The only NV DLCs that remember it's a roleplaying game are Old World Blues and Honest Hearts. Dead Money and Lonesome road are shit because they mostly force you into certain playstyles and character interactions, both with less freedom than the main game.
Avellone got really tired of fallout.
>Couldn't even be assed to give him a unique skin texture, opting to just use the raider textures
>someone makes a convincing burned flesh mod within an hour of the PC release
Worst DLC of each game:
3 - Mothership Zeta
NV - Dead Money
4 - Nuka World
>Always hear good things about the fallout series
>Decide to play the one Yas Forums likes the most, New Vegas
>Feels clunky and janky
>Controls are awkward and combat is just me opening vats and clicking shoot up close with shotgun
>Looks fucking ugly too
Maybe I should start with fallout 4 first?
You should just not play at all
Honest Hearts was worse than Dead Money IMO.
Dead Money was the best NV DLC, you’re just a pleb.
Honest Hearts didn't have the Speaker, Hologram, and Gas shit so it's slightly better in my book
It was so bad I actually just sold the rewards you got out of the vault.
Get either the unofficial patch or games with windows live.
Honest Hearts gave us that delicious 1911.
Usually I played a space marine style character, the 1911 was my boltgun, whose only purpose was to be continually dealing damage whilst I closed enough distance to get into melee.
Not him, but how would you rate dead money if not crappy? I'll admit I loved the atmosphere and the setting, but it just got so old so fast. Maybe if they had removed the fucking radios setting off your collar or scrapped the stupid hologram technology for a different idea, god damn the vault part was a chore.
Anyways, all fallout 3 and fallout new vegas addons suck for the simple reason that they're all poorly balanced or made so combat heavy because you're meant to have basically beaten the game already. The hillbilly one for fallout 3 has mobs that have a hidden perk that makes them do a flat amount of extra damage per hit, causing you to chew through stim packs despite being in fucking power armor. They did the same thing with the goblins under mournhold, they're goblins, yet their shitty cobbled together weapons are doing near daedric damage.
>Cut scene of him being legate, he's still walking around in modern day armor with a bullet proof vest.
Laziest shit ever.
I honestly hope Emil Pagliarulo catches Corona. I suppose that sounds incredibly petty, but I sincerely believe he deserves to die for ruining Fallout and Elder Scrolls
Why is he even the lead writter?
Not him but I find that the best way to play Dead Money and actually enjoy it is to turn Hardcore mode on.
Hardcore mode is shit for... a variety of reasons. It makes you waste a perk on Pack Rat, for instance. It was designed to compliment the survival skill, but somehow made it less worthwhile than the base game.
But combine it with Dead Money? Good experience right there.
Anyway, the real bullshit part about Dead Money was "you have to learn to let go... leave the gold behine."
How about no? How about I cheese my weight capacity so I can get out of here, which is made doubly easy because you decided to go ahead and take all my items when I came here?
>not using the body exploit to bring all the good shit to the real world.
