how would you even know if that macro works on the modern client, there's no way to test it, i suspect the first /cast would block the rest of the macro, since /cast stops the macro if it fails so you can't make a priority system

They did remove the attunements after TK. It took a long while, though. I remember our guild was getting begged to bring other guild's extras and newbies because we were one of the few guilds on the server who not only did TK but did it more than once.

TBC was the most boring expansion to progress through. Hellfire Peninsula was a bore on the eyes and being ganked by multiple people endlessly sucked dick. Zangamarsh was also fucking boring, but I hate aquatic themed stuff usually. Netherstorm was just hellfire peninsula but purple.
Nagrand was very enjoyable. The rest I don't remember well, I think there was a big green area inside of Netherstorm? That was ok.

The difference here is that the content as it was originally no longer exists in any capacity. It's not the same as buying a product that you already own again, it's more like getting a second shot at a time-limited event.
Obviously private servers exist, they provide a free approximation of the time-limited event, which I think there's nothing wrong with, but they're always going to be somewhat fractured between the different servers and wouldn't have the same population of official versions, which for a social game like WoW is a big deal.
Not that this will stop Yas Forums from baiting hard about it anyway but whatever.
