Nah, I am an Xbox 360 and Xbox One owner but since you can play the new Xbox games on PC now, like it was up until 2006/7 or so, I won't.

i think by the end of the year there will be enough reasons to buy a console over a pc or enough valid reasons why someone would want one anyway. we're seeing cool tech like quick resume that pc's can't do and probably never will. buying any console on launch that isn't the xbox is pants on head retarded though even i admit that as a predominantly pc gamer. ps5 is weak and nobody should sacrifice performance just like i'd never buy AMD graphics because there's always some shitty tradeoff where it runs like garbage like unreal engine 4 games for example.

not them but very few people will buy a console solely for one game. they'll have an outlook of what games they want to play over time or they'll buy something based on price/perf (like pc gaming) because they'll know any games that do come out will run well on said platform e.g. 360 last gen or ps4 this gen. there are legit reasons to own any console at the end of the year. ps5 for exclusives, xbox for gamepass and best performing multiplats, switch for portability and japanese games etc. that's how most people will see each platform because they're marketed that way by their manufacturers.

if it gets the same niche as xbox 360 in japan, then yes
