Right now shield is super boring mechanic and considered inferior by many people due to the OSP crutch. It's also retarded how shaped glass now cut the amount of shield from PSG. There's so much interesting stuff can be done with the mechanic by it seems Hopoo doesn't care much.

ps4 RoR player here...is this my imagination or sometimes you just roll with a terrible seed with almost no chest and items that don't stack well and the difficulty just throws enemies that just tank everything

I don't remember having this problem with RoR 1

i'm gonna correct myself here, not just sometimes more like almost everytime and even with a good set of items you're just gonna get oneshotted by every enemy that has flawlessly is always aiming at you

Just for occasional shittery. At its core RoR is co-op and people play it for that. There was a guy for a lot of months last year, in these threads, who was trying to push for 10 man versus mode for RoR2. He had a pretty in-depth mod in fact, but he rarely ever filled out.

Starstorm has a pretty nifty PvP mode, but people get tired of it pretty quickly after only a few rounds.

Is that the versus mode where people turned into monsters when they died? I really like that one, the one flaw was when players outscaled monsters too much
