it's fun to be contrarian

>I don't like [thing] ergo no one likes [thing]

Retards gonna retard

i think this board has the most losers. people that are going nowhere in life and want to brings others around them down with them, unfortunately they have no social life, only videos. so they direct that negativity to the video games they can't play.

*only video games

cant wait till cyberpunk comes out so Yas Forums seethes once again.

Just like they did for Doom, Alyx and Animal crossing.

Cyberpunk is going to be the slam dunk
Honestly can't wait

The shitposting for Alyx was really dumb. Nobody even fucking knows what they're doing
>HAHA THIS SINGLEPLAYER GAME IS LOSING PLAYERS AGAINST MULTIPLAYER GAMES OHONONONONON
Just fucking wait for sales info then do your thing, but it probably doesn't matter anyway

>5 retards post about a game failing ahead of it's release
>HAHAHAHAHA LOOKS LIKE Yas Forums WAS WRONG AGAIN!!!11!

look at the catalog

The Yas Forums Fallacy:

> People on here actually believe they have a voice in the industry.
> Like when some faggot shit posts something about a popular video game they think that people wont buy it.
Literally delusional.

Don't worry, Yas Forums.
Halo: Infinite will always be there for you.

People on Yas Forums are bumfuck retarded and think being contrarian is the best thing since sliced bread.

You must be new here, or triggered

vee is not wrong about Cyberpunk. Everything can already be verified. It's just stating facts

>Half Life Alyx Confirmed as a Bigger Flop Than Artifact

OH NO NO NO NO, I told you Steam drones Alyx was going to be another flop in a long line of Valve made flops like these, but your simping for VR blinded you to the facts:

Valve can't make anything successful anymore

>Steam machines? Flop
>Steam controllers? Flop
>SteamOS? Flop
>Steam Link? Flop
>Shartifact? You better believe that was a flop
>Source 2? Not even made to even be a flop
>Steam Videos? Flop
>Steam VR? Fired devs and unpopular games
>DOTA Underlords? OH NO NO NO NO
>Half Life Alyx? A bigger fucking flop than Artifact. Can you believe that shit?

Literally the only money they have is from rent controlling other peoples games like a corrupt landlord, and that's gonna end soon.

(Reminder Steam drones have never proven me wrong about this list and instead just say things like "NOBODY CARES ABOUT ARTIFACT!!!1")

>B-b-but tons of people bought da index!!!1

A lot of people bought the Kinect too, you pathetic simp.

Attached: bbma.jpg (1624x1134, 275.41K)

BUT THEY SAID THEY CARE ABOUT THE CRITICISM!

fuck niggers

>most sold VR game
>flop
lol

dont forget tlou2. man this board is shit

>Nintendo Exclusive
>Multiplat
>PC Exclusive
>Multiplay
>Multiplat
>Multiplat
Oh I'm thinking Ninty PC was based.

I'm 29 and learned not to get too hyped for games anymore because they won't satisfy the high expectations I would have for it.

So I'm cautiously anticipating a game but that's as far as I would go now. Getting "hyped" is what the shareholders/publishers want.

I do stock now and yes I would want the same.

Attached: 1584811137068.jpg (579x818, 413K)

It's not arbitrary, VR games are inherently niche, most people don't have vr equipment, so that needs to be taken into account when considering sales.

rule of thumb: if it's not made by pic related, it's impossible to discuss a new game on Yas Forums anymore.

Well there's a difference between not getting hyped and saying "This game is obviously gonna fail".

Not getting hyped is just ambivalence. People here are just spiteful contrarians.

>Confirmed as a Bigger Flop Than Artifact
stop comparing PC games to VR games

how the fuck do you know its a flop?

With what's going on right now, you might wanna remove valve from that image.

You know what, you're right. I will now delete my low quality posts.

Yas Forums is the shithole of Yas Forums

>implying Yas Forums tried to shitpost Animal Crossing

Look at this dude.

This image aged like milk
>can't discuss Cyberpunk 2077 because of tortanic shitposting
>can't discuss Hollow Knight because whatever

so you dont

epicgames.com/store/en-US/free-games

World War Z, Figment and Tormentor X Punisher are now free on Epic Store

Gone Home and Hob are next weeks free game

>stop comparing PC games to VR games
the state of VRdrones

Attached: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.jpg (901x1200, 140.72K)

this is a bethesda marketing thread trying to convince you nudoom ain’t complete shit

>who?
>who?
>who?
>visual novels are not games
>who?

Now I'm starting to get the picture. The shitposting all came from that EGS bot

>people that are going nowhere in life and want to brings others around them down with them

Attached: 365.png (490x333, 313.09K)

you can smell the dilation and broken ds4s on this post

Attached: me in the pink.webm (1280x720, 2.95M)

but it's true. how many people even have a VR helmet? not as many as the people who have a PC. thus comparing PC games' sales to VR games' sales is like comparing apples to oranges

>>Epic Games Publishing Announces Partnerships with gen DESIGN, Playdead, and Remedy Entertainment

Steam is about to get raped by permanent Epic Store exclusives

>The Epic Games approach to publishing fundamentally changes the developer/publisher model, and aims to have the most developer-friendly terms in the industry, so that creators can focus on making great games.

>Full creative freedom and ownership. Developers retain 100% of all intellectual property and full creative control of their work.
>Fully-funded projects. Epic Games Publishing will cover up to 100% of development costs, from developer salaries to go-to-market expenses such as QA, localization, marketing, and all publishing costs.
>50/50 profit sharing. Developers earn a fair share for their work -- once costs are recouped, developers earn at least 50% of all profits.

>“We’re building the publishing model we always wanted for ourselves when we worked with publishers,” said Tim Sweeney, Founder and CEO of Epic Games.

>"gen DESIGN, Remedy, and Playdead are among the most innovative and talented studios in the industry, with strong visions for their next games,” said Hector Sanchez, Head of Epic Games Publishing. “They will have full creative control, while Epic will provide a solid foundation of project funding and services.”

Reminder Steamies will never ever have sex

Attached: egs.png (1281x936, 83.52K)

It's hilarious really, they probably care more about the game than the people having fun with it.

Except only 1% of PC market has VR so that means that it was a complete success for VR?
Any shittop can run Artifact
Only good PCs with VR headsets can run Half-Life Alyx

This is honestly just really dumb and not even a little bit true
I mean literally right now as we speak there's probably at least 3 Doom Eternal threads, A Nioh thread, probably a FF7 Remake thread etc...

This but ironically.

Attached: 1554975673263.jpg (601x601, 27.36K)

Epic Games Store will never have Boneworks, Half-Life Alyx, or Breeders of Nephelym

I only care about Doomy Terminal and Cyberpunk. Eternal was pretty good, but I have huge doubts about Cyberpunk.

>buzzword
....ok

If you have single digit IQ i guess. Also you have to be 18+ to post here

It's more new people who heard about TORtanic, and are mad they missed out. They try to generate a new one with every game that comes, not knowing how unique everything was with TOR.

how? you can't criticize their new vr tech demo without a bunch of shills accusing you of being poor.
cyberpunk has far more shilling/damage control than tortanic posting.

I think it's also people who were there. They enjoyed it so much that they want to recreate it. But they are impatient motherfuckers who can't wait for a genuine TOR level disaster to come along, so they try to force it and make every single fucking game "Blunder of the century"

Cyberpunk is nowhere near the disaster that TOR was. TOR was a disaster, a lot of what Yas Forums bitches about cyberpunk so far is just personal taste. We haven't even gotten to play it yet.

tor itself wasn't even a "disaster," all they did was go free-to-play.

Except you aren't selling apples while expecting them to sell like oranges.

>LOL THIS GAME CAN ONLY BE PLAYED ON A 1000 DOLLAR VR
>no it isn't
>SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL

Attached: 1432388740222.jpg (500x378, 144.72K)

and nobody expected a VR game to sell like PC games do because for each person with VR and a PC there's 99 people without VR but with a PC

The word Shill really lost its meaning nowadays, same as how the word Viral lost its meaning back then

It did make a pretty big recovery for sure. I actually enjoyed playing TOR, though the current expansion didn't really grab me.

Definitely not. Everyone who was there knew how unique of a situation it truly was. It will probably never happen again. Look at how big of a disaster Anthem was, and yet, it still couldn't reach the meltdown levels of TOR.

If Alyx causes the sale of even one VR unit, it has succeeded. Alyx isn't about moving game units, its about letting people know that gaming is moving on to VR.

Attached: book_urizen_blakes_retelling_hi.jpg (450x722, 52.66K)

What the fuck are you SMOKING this picture couldn't be more wrong
all of those threads are PRIME shitposting haven

Well it made a 1000 dollar VR set get sold out all the time so yeah

how much do you have to be absolutely fuming about Alyx to post this multiple times a day.
