I'm with ya. I can draw great bodies, but my expertise ends at drawing faces/heads. No matter how many different face styles or head shapes I attempt, they just never seem to look good.
Kip is probably the best fat artist, but his problem is that unless the character stems from a stylised anime or game, all of the faces look the same

It seems a lot of them have that same-face problem, look at Pew for another example.
But I hear you loud and clear, I'm getting decent at bodies but my faces just look like trash. Trying to figure those out is proving to be a pain, especially nailing good expressions. I'm sure with enough practice it's something the both of us will overcome, but who knew drawing would be so difficult?

Alas, drawing is a difficult thing. I'd probably be more confident if I digitally drew because it's easier to fix mistakes and whatnot, but I'm traditional pencil and paper. But I believe in both of us, user. Never stop working towards your goals
