Kaguya is an asspull. If there had been a final bad guy it should have been Rikudou Sennin who was mentioned early into the story, hinted at again but never formally introduced. He had to be introduced at some point so it would have made sense for him to appear in the war arc, instead Kaguya is mentioned and then appears as the final boss 10 chapters later.
