A top 100 list of games is going to have some great games in it, but a lot of them are just going to be the most popular and probably won't be what you are looking for in a game. I rarely go by the top 100 list of games to pick what I play next, I just go by what interests me, whether it's a new title or just some old game I played ages ago but never finished.
