That she is sassy, smug and dresses sexily, does over the top acrobatics, shows off her flexibility and agility during her missions etc. while also being extremely capable.
That's what i missed in reboots. I was fine with her starting as some underdog/not that sexy girl but wanted to see her grow in confidence and become the classic sexy Lara.
Instead it had shitty writing and complete disconnect with what was shown in gameplay and in cutscenes. In game you cut down hundreds of people like a sociopath only for Lara to break down and cry because muh trauma in next cutscene.
Tomb Raider is supposed to be an over the top adventure inspired by Indiana Jones. Not a darker, grittier mud, blood and gore Uncharted rip-off.
