i fucking wish mmos were with a shit. ive been hopping around random things the past couple days only to come to the realization that everything fucking sucks. The only mmo's ive ever enjoyed are digimon masters online and black desert online. both games got ruined by p2w mechanics limiting progression. im considering going to a private server for any game i can find with an active community

Not really. MMOs are pretty boring if you missed an expansion, grinding to catch up is a chore. While it may be fun to play with friends, solo play is mixed as you may end up in a server full of shitters.
Just play Ragnarok Online everything else it's just wow but with more erp

no, honestly FF XIV is pretty pointless.
you can't sell to other players most of the shit you loot, can't trade anything good or rare, can't trade cards for a fucking trading card game (triple triad) in-game, etc.
nothing is worth it beyond cosmetic bullshit, and gear always gets replaced so you'll never have an "ultimate" item with good utility, also, no exploration whatsoever, stuff that makes MMOs fun in the first place

PvE raids can get pretty intense and PvP has a bunch of different modes, including mass battles which are fun imo.

I recently started an ironman on rs3 and its pretty comfy so far. Got to endgame in OSRS and got incredibly bored.
The yellows are good for leveling alts, but you should definitely use any and all available if you're trying to get through the story and hit a gap. Skipping blue means you cant even fly, jesus christ user
