Why is Yangus so based?

>jrpg

name one

>35 hours in
>still haven’t finished the tutorial
Fuck Persona

>jrpg

nice lie

Who’s Guv?

>>jrpg

What kind of JRPG is that

It's (You).

One of the few JRPG's that are actually "mash A to win". The difficulty is so lo you can get by spamming weapon unleashes and healing between fights. Only Star Magician requires an ounce of strategy because you have to only target his healing orbs until something else spawns.

>One of the few JRPG's that are actually "mash A to win".
The entire FF series would like a word

Resonance of Fate.

I think Suikoden 1 was only like 12-15 hours or so.

More like
>Have every ability and mechanic at the start of the game, but you lose almost all of them after tutorial

>JRPG with tons of cool combat & customization options
>bosses are immune to all status effects
>several builds are unusable until endgame or unless you farm for money/items
>there is no reason to use any build other than minmaxed offense
>also like an hour of equipment synthesis is enough to make you game-breakingly overpowered

>it takes literal months to reach the final boss

Should be "slagging off"

Someone post the webm. You know the one

It's not the one you wanted, but it's the one you deserve.

Good enough for me

How does KH3 proud mode being too easy make up for the fact FF is too easy?

>moments before final boss 60 hours in
>tutorial plays

??
It was just a .webm i had saved up, i don't play FFs because for me they are boring as fuck.
Last FF i've played was 7.

>JRPG
>gets good 20 hours in
name it

I don’t have a clue, was just saying how brain dead easy FF is. Still love the games

didn't those games had secret bosses or something?

>jrpg
>100 hours in

ni no kuni

xenoblade

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade

Jesus fuck Xenoblade 2 get it together

Every kiseki game but then they do end and it's just setup for another 80 hour game

You can get to the ending of FF7 under 10 hours, whereas a game like Persona 5, you simply can't.

Is there a better feature for JRPGs than x2/4 speed ?
Emulators spoiled me too much

I was referring to Dragon Quest XI

>jrpg
>1 hour in
>already multiple scripted losses

You get a new mechanic right before the final boss. How is it bad they explain it? If they didn't you would be bitching about it.

Anyone here played battle chasers?

Every PC release of the kiseki games has turbo built in

thanks for beta testing console players

Oof, this rustle my jimmies.

Alright give me the redpill on xenoblade 2, whats the deal with that game?

It’s good.

mechanic tutorials throughout the whole game. super vertical so quest marker is misleading at times. overall pretty good game if you keep going.

It's shit.

There’s no reason not to fast forward when grinding, I never do it for anything else though

It's shit

Way too much anime bullshit and cutscenes can be a drag, but the combat and world is phenomenal, and the music is some of the best in vidya.

It's a bit of a slog until you get other weapons. Then the game gets real fun. It plays like a Korean MMO if it was built around a single player experience with a story.

hit me with a game that does this

How about not having new mechanics introduced right before the final boss at all you fucking tard

worse than the first game in almost every way, and even then 1 is kinda overrated

MMO probably

There's no reason not too. The game has a post-game and its simple story-gameplay integration. What a idiot

>jrpg
>50 hours in
>the tutorial finally ends
>game is still easy and boring as shit

>jrpg
>to get the best gear you have to beat the hardest boss
>nothing to use it on

Just like the other xenoblade games, has some very good pros but a good deal of cons. I think they equal out to making each game good. But YMMV, personally I wasn't able to get into X or 2.

You beat resonance of fate in ten hours? I think my first playthrough was 35 but I’m a do everything kind of guy

>jrpg
>150 hours in, about to fight the final boss
>tutorial box pups up again

No but I read the comic 20 years ago and it destroyed my faith in the comic book industry as a teen.

man, i played the 3ds remake and i never beat dolmagus 20-30 hours or so in. is it worth it staying resilient and grinding a few levels? I actually have been grinding a lot already anyway but he always wipes me

Most Tails of... if you like them
TitS but it's closer to 30

Yes. I really liked it but felt the game ended too soon after getting the best skills.

It did, he's retarded.
You could only fight Dullahan if you played through the original Golden Sun, got all the djinni (a lot of which were missable), transferred your data to Lost Age, and got all the djinni in the new game without missing a thing.
Not really plausible as a kid who doesn't know shit and is playing for the first time.
user's retarded.

yeah because doulmagus is only the half way point of the game

yea, i figured as much. It's no use, i'm buffing my party, hasting and stuff. he dispells everything and uses aoe attack twice and im dead... It's been like half a year since I last played it, but maybe I'll give it a try again some time.
