what games do you like user

you should definitely play through the igavania games they are super fun to play through and pretty short, they are only like 4 or 5 hours for a first play through. Classicvania is fun too.

For sure! I've been planning to play Castlevanias for a long time but never really went ahead to actually do it. Should I play SotN first? It's the most interesting to me.

Still have work despite the quarantine, so I've really only played Teppen lately. The Mini-Direct had some cool stuff though, I liked the look of Shinsekai, Ninjala, and Fuser (the Harmonix game that got just a few seconds in the highlight reel; you splice different tracks from various licensed songs to create a DJ set in real time, getting points for following crowd requests and changing things right on the beat).

2/2 (MMZC, Sly 2); technically 5/5 given the Collection. A bit cheating but the DS Collection is a damn nice package. Did you not play the Zero/ZX Collection or do you just not like the ZX games?
Once saw a guy in my graduate class who looks exactly like the Chad meme playing SEGA Bass Fishing on his gaming laptop during a lecture.
6/6 (SM, SMB3, 3S, MM4, GGXXAC+R, WL4); great taste, especially for Classic MM. 4 is the best NES game and up there with 10 & 11 overall for me.

it's the first igavania and defintely my favorite with aria, so yeah I recommend it for sure. it's fun to replay all the time, especially playing it with the randomizer. It's fun just to wing smash through the castle super fast.

it's not about what games I like, it's about whether you're tastes are your own or manufactured. OP lists games that aren't conventionally loved or widely played around here, and therefore it's obvious that he genuinely loves them
the third one, besides Pathologic 2 and Final Fantasy X, just likes whatever he gets memed alot here. I like some of those games too (stalker, pathologic 2 and deus ex for example), but Dark Souls AND New Vegas AND Deus Ex AND MGS3 AND Shadow of Chernobyl AND Bloodlines all in the same chart? nah, I don't believe these are that guy's honest favorites, and not him trying to look like a """patrician"""

I haven't played megamn 11 yet I need to get to that. I didn't know people rated it so highly.

I played ZX Advent, never played ZX. As for the collection on Steam, I'll play it when I feel like it. Kinda off-put by the reviews but I'll get it when it's on sale anyways. Also: 3/3 (technically 4/4 but I don't have Iceborne)

Damn I want to play Otogi and Otogi 2 but I've never owned an Xbox in my life. Maybe one day I'll get a super cheap 360 and play both Otogis (they're backwards compatible right?) and NGII. Also 1/1 for TS2.

11 is great. Level design I think is a strong suit of it since it lets every gimmick in a level breathe and builds them up at just the right pace with two checkpoints cutting the level up evenly before the boss door checkpoint. There's also top-tier QoL additions like separate dedicated Rush Coil/Jet buttons and the right stick being mapped to a weapon wheel that can bring you back to buster if you click it (R3 or whatever the other consoles call it). The only issues are that the music's soundfont really obscures otherwise great compositions and the Wily Castle is probably the most barebones in that it's two proper stages and then separate stages dedicated to the rematch and Wily Machine that have extremely short/simple stages leading up to them.

Not him, but from my understanding one is actually a tactical RPG that loosely uses the rules of Football and the other is just a violent arcadey Football game. I'm not very well-versed in either though.

No, it plays exactly like Nfl blitz but with some traps on the field plays called dirty tricks which are just cheat plays which usually involve a player becoming unstoppable or killing opponents with guns or buzzsaws. The only difference in strategy is when you decide to bribe the ref to help you fuck over the other team when they score a big play. I wish blood bowl had a 5 year dynasty like this game though.

I haven't played Crosscode actually, the -1 is TF2. I don't hate it or anything, but I did play it for a few days and it really felt like it wasn't my speed.

Alright that's fair. TF2 needs a little getting used to, also it's kind of pointless in the sense that you just play game after game since it doesn't really have an end game goal or anything. I myself got really into it and played it for over 2k hours, especially loved the modded servers.
