I wouldn't want them to be in smash at all. Skullgirls is gameplaywise easily better than smash. Its the devs of skullgirls that suddenly turned against their own fanbase.
Starting to censor everything, next game was a absolute noname borefest completely unrelated to skullgirls, they try to distance themselves from their best product and so on...
I remember when the devs of Skullgirls actually cooperated with Zone-tan. That was amazing. Then they pissed themselves out of nowhere and stopped making an already lewd game lewder.

I'm not big a fan of hers but I do like a little chub. Maybe if she was my favorite I'd be an immobile/slob degenerate, but my favorite girl is Valentine and my favorite character is Band.

Skullgirls isn't a bad game at all but I wouldn't call it a masterclass in gameplay beyond the fantastic tutorial, combination of Tag Fighter with CvS2's ratios, and numerous QoL improvements.

In comparison with the casual shit that is smash it sure is a masterclass in gameplay.
The only reason why Smash stays afloat is because of mass shilling by Nintendo and them trying to constantly expand their roster.
Smash is easily one of the weak fighting games if we talk about gameplay.
