Splatoon was Nintendo's biggest smash hit since Pokemon in Japan when it came out. You'd have to be stupid to expect anything less going into Smash Ultimate.

Pity Arms didn't make waves as big. I skipped the game since it looked shallow and like it would get boring extremely quickly. Watching their baby get shadowed by Splatoon must suck for the team when they're sent back to toil in the Mario Kart mines.

Check back in a few weeks, the trial's gonna skew the numbers for a bit. Hopefully this breathes some new life into the game though.

Yeah and Nintendo didn't give a single shit about this game and suddenly started talking about it a week ago or so like it was normal. The game wasn't a mega hit like Splatoon by a longshot, but throwing an Arms character in the base game would have at least been a little better, there was enough time to make them the final base DLC at least.
