the first week of this game is animal crossing on training wheels, so either deal with everything being time gated or do your main mission for the day and then change the clock on your switch forward a day until you unlock your town hall

You can net the wasps, and opening the tool wheel makes them pause so you have plenty of time to switch to it.

Mkae the profile and start the game with that profile until nook gives you the tent. Then log back into your main profile and nook will give you the ability to call the other guy
