kino hearts 2
OMG SOOOO DEEP AND RELATABLE ANIME BOY YAAAAAAAS
I'm glad this moment wasn't ruined by any sequels.
The last kino KH moment.
Don't forget Sora leaving on the train and not knowing why he starts crying.
>the last kino KH mome-
...
Why do all the kino moments in KH always involve either Roxas or Riku?
Didn't he say he want to be himself before meeting Sora and then all of sudden he change his mind and join Sora out of nowhere when he finally meet him?
Do you not understand the concept of accepting the inevitable?
That ending fight was pretty amazing though.
you shouldnt have betray us...
Because we're not 12 anymore and sora is just annoying now.
>Theme song swells
>Roxas!
>My turn
Kino
he accepted his fate in the end. Now this is all undone in the future games but it's supposed to be a tragic tale
>Completely and retroactively ruined the emotional gravitas of KH2 prologue
Eh.
>roxas theme
Not even the best theme in the series anymore. youtube.com
Why did everyone need to get a happy ending?
Xehanort being defeated by Trinity was fucking great
>Laser dome
>Not maximum Kino
It's kino that's also shit.
It's shino.
Wasn't Roxas stuck in the data world? How did he actually meet up with Sora in the real world?
kh2 already ruined it by having him appear even after sora defeated him
Don't think, feel
It's just the 358/2 days song souped on. I actually like the original more since it felt a lot more emotional while still being fitting boss music.
Feels like this scene got memed into being popular like a few years ago, before that people weren't bringing it up 24/7.
Ansem was hiding Sora, Donald and Goofy in the data world. He released them after Roxas surrendered
That part almost got me. Fuckin game.
Sora isn't allowed to frown, he's just Donald Duck's tool.
Yeah but it was still bittersweet since he was stuck as a part of Sora forever. Having him and literally everyone come back cheapens that imo
Mmm idk Kairi and Sora vs Goatnort was pretty fucking rad
So was Roxas a replicant?
No but Xion was. Blade Runner world when?
Because they are the best character in these games
Playing though 2.5 final mix now
Finished 1.5 and and both chain of memories stories
I hope 3 isn't gay
youtu.be
wait just a goddamn minute. Top 3? Sure, but best? Nope
3 is okay. It's my favorite but I have admittedly plebian taste
3 with DLC is not bad, but doesn't hold a candle to Kino Hearts II.
People used to say the Roxas prologue was boring and wished the game just jumped to Sora, and the ones who liked it were few and far between. I'm really glad people have come around and now see why it's important.
>Uh oh, Kairi got kidnapped yet again for no reason at all despite the years-long build-up
>But look, throwaway characters who were supposed to piss off and die are now back for no reason at all!
Re:mind is better than 3; I really really really like playing as Kairi. DLC made her seem competent as keyblade warrior
That was fucking stupid.
Wasn't he living in a simulation anyways? So the ones he does miss, don't even know about him. It's like in that episode of Malcolm in the Middle where Reese hangs out with some random people at school and gets called out by Malcolm
After a decade of repetitive and derivative side games and the flop that was KH3 on release people came to appreciate how touching this scene was. In retrospect it feels like the only "genuine" sad moment in all of KH actually.
you posted the wrong half
Isn't that the point? That Roxas' friendship with them was all fake, but even as a part of Sora he cherished those fake memories so much he made Sora cry anyways.
It's like three layers of irony.
>only "genuine" sad moment in all of KH
What is KH1 ending
>In retrospect it feels like the only "genuine" sad moment in all of KH actually.
I love that scene but this is hyperbole. Even something as simple as the initial dynamic between Sora, Kairi and Riku back in KH1 Destiny Islands (and how it develops in Neverland, Monstro and Hollow Bastion) is cheesy but also very genuine.
does anyone know what song this is that starts at the timestamp? I've heard it before in the series but I can't find it in the kh3 ost
No, there is still some conflict, in FM you get that sweet Roxas fight that was a cutscene in the original 2 for whatever reason.
You mean as part of Sora?
This.
I assume it's because SE wanted to pander to everyone
>So the ones he does miss, don't even know about him.
That's the point, retard.
The best version of this song is still the original ds version, they dumbed down the remastered versions
The moment right before the series started going to hell.
3's gameplay fixes 2's issues but don't play on anything other than Proud or Crit. Standard and Easy were made for retarded journalists
3 is bretty good especially with those new moves they patched in. Only Frozen is gay, but we all called that from day one.
In this series hearts are all connected and can exist inside of data as proven twice by Tron. Even though Hayner,Pence and Ollette never met him a connection existed there.
That's link to all user.

>how many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man!
Sometimes YT comments are alright
I was been hyperbolic actually. KH1 is very simple, but it was also very real. I guess what I meant was that post KH2 the series never really felt the same and all those bullshit speeches about heart and friendship just didn't win me over anymore.
wheres the KH3 OST? was it released officially, finally?
Focusing on other characters besides Sora was a mistake.
Riku and Kairi are exceptions due to being actual "main" characters.
I get it but I thought it was kind of embarrassing.
Starting to cry in front of some strangers, come on man
>originally kino moment becomes unintentionally funny in retrospect thanks to the sequels
1 didn't really feel sad. It felt more like "there's more work to be done" even before sequels were announced. Even ignoring riku, not like they were just going to leave king mickey locked behind some door forever especially after how they hyped him up all game
But Mickey was using one too
Are we talking about the CG ending? Even as a kid it never really felt "sad" to me since Sora clearly promised Kairi he'll be back. It was more like a
>and the adventure continues
kind of ending.
Why did KH3 feel so souless?
>Sora can still use magic without the keyblade in KH1
>In KH3 they changed it so Yozora can dunk on you even harder
You have to take the scene within KH's convoluted metaphysics. Roxas was never "really" friends with Hayner, Pence and Olette, but Roxas does remember their friendship. But as far as they're concerned, Roxas and their friendship never existed.
Roxas has to let go because he has no choice. It kind of ties into the melancholy of being a Nobody in the first place, at least before the retcons.
>Finally 100% completed KH1, CoM and 2
>Still have BBS, DDD and 3 to go
Wish me luck lads.
God I hate Nomura
You mean KH1 was very simple but was also clean
I guess sad isnt quite the right word. Melancholic? It's not not sad, especially the beat when Kairi and Soras hands pull apart as the music starts tugs at the heart strings. Maybe that's my nostalgia
3 tarnished the legacy of KH and I won't hear otherwise
hello nostalgiafag
