Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
DON'T use W10's own virtual disc app! Don't install under C:\Program Files\ !
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.

Follow the SH2 widescreen fix site's instructions to the teeth, and you should be fine.
For 3 & 4, check the Guide.

i replay it every year. i originally planned on doing the trilogy but i find 3 a chore to replay the first half, and 1 is great but there's only so many times i can play it. i usually just replay 2 once a year, going for a different ending. only have leave and in water endings so far.

Is it better to play SH4 on PC or stick with my OG Xbox version? I want to boot it back up since it feels appropriate but I'm paranoid the fucker will give me the RROD the moment I power it on. This franchise has been too shamed for new games to work unless its built on some massive hype like what Kojima was successfully doing with Silent Hills and the PT demo. Its going to have to take remakes of the ones people love for hype to generate for this franchise again. It may not be as popular as RE but a successful and faithful remake of the classics will do a lot to restore not just faith in original fans but also generate excitment for new ones to get invested so they can see what was so great about 1-3. Since we all know they aren't going to go out their way to play these old "outdated games" on "outdated hardware" if you know what I mean.
