how come flux isn't working on tonfa? is it something to do with demon dance?
>OH GOD IM GONNA
>IM GONNA EEEEEAAAATTT
yeah idk sometimes it looked like i got the flux but 90% of the time it didnt
Delete this
You have to Flux after the Demon Dance finishes. It's the same with Spear.
mom guardian spirit when?
It's a little weird, you have to change stances a little later than usual, delay the button press and you'll get it 100% of the time
amamama give milkies
She's your mom user...
has anyone done tests with nekomata's increased feral counter window? is it meaningful?
Bullshit I wouldn't
Yes, and?
Feral is already the easiest counter in the game. It's a shit passive even if it is meaningful increase.
I hate this character design; I'd rather fight some kind of zombie samurai.
what would you recommend for guardian spirit bonuses and attunement costs? i see that the whale has the highest attunement
not him but brute is way easier, literally no timing, I cant even use any other counter because it has coddled me.
Feral is the easiest time by far
generally you only need 1 really good ability and then the other slots can just be good bonuses, I haven't found attunement cost to be a huge deal
It really depends on what you're building for. At the end of the game, most Guardian Spirits have a range of about 4 points difference between Attunement Limits so it isn't a huge deal.
If you really want to use Yokai Abilities, though, I highly suggest going with one of the Spirits that directly buffs their damage, like Hakutaku, Nekomata, or Hyobishin.
And once again, brute doesn't even HAVE a time to it. You just press the button and it works.
It has but one weakness: fast burst grabs, there's like, 2 in the game, one from enenra.
deadly spiral spam is pretty effective against humans. It gives hatchets a much needed melee pressure move.
is the +40 attack/defense sets even worth it when you could get a set that just has plain +8% melee damage? with a 1000 damage weapon isn't the 8% going to be twice as good as +40 attack? or does the 8% only trigger after defense kicks in or something? does the 8% not affect ki damage?
I'm pretty sure the "Attack" bonuses are some kind of percentage because they always seem to have a greater effect than they should.
Reminder that only trannies use switch glaive. Real chads use tonfas
If the user asking which armor set I was using here is still around, it's the Golden Gourd set. I like the increased attack on amrita absorption bonus when paired with extraction talismans (plus Toyotomi clan and equipment that restores HP on absorption so I can stay at full health and get the 2kat damage bonus)
yeah yeah popular bad, we know
I main hatchets.
The only weapon we disrespect in this house is axe
t. fellow tonfachad
When I used it for a few missions I didn't notice any difference. I concluded it was most likely because they broke it when they reworked Feral Dodge to be braindead, because the original Feral Dodge had no iframes or invincibility beyond the short Burst Counter window, so it would make sense for him to turn it into a full fledged ninja dodge.
Weapons? What are those? I defeat my opponents purely with Ninjutsu and Onmyo Magic.
>enter Katsuie's castle
I really did not think my opinion of Maeda could drop any lower. This man is pathetic.
>trying to foster any sort of malcontent between weapon users
>not being a master of all weapons you lay your hand upon
I thought it was hatchets
Tonfabro, real chad's don't talk much
>You wouldn't a Yokai.
I dunno, user, that looks wheely hard.
>Using gimmicks like ninjutsu, onmyo, and weapons
TRUE Chads use their bare fists
My main problem is that I'm starting NG+ and I want to maximize my damage which means picking a single weapon, but I like switching weapons constantly to have some variety.
historically im pretty sure he fought with katsuie, guess they needed a subboss
PC fag here, is the DLC worth playing through on the first game? I'd play Nioh 2 but sony can go to hell for their censorship.
Yeah but I wouldn't play it for a few months if I was you, I'm sure you're used to delays so it shouldn't be a big deal
Would hatchets make a good subweapon to 2kat?
Brute is easiest.
Feral is just the best because it can be used as an instant clutch dodge and even if it whiffs you''ll just end up behind your opponent prob.
It's some of the best content in the game until WotD where everything becomes insufferable.
what was the third yokai released by tokichiro?
Axes are the weapon of soulsfags that hate fun and want to plow through games as brainlessly as they can for git gud memes
WHY THE FUCK DO THE SNAKE WOMEN HAVE THE MOST PERFECTLY SHAPED BREASTS UGHHHHHHHHHHHH
I'm sorry.
As someone who hatchet'd till around chpt 4, I feel bad for you.
The game is much more fuck with a weapon with a complete build.
the other 2 have i-frames
if you get hit during brute you take the damage, so you have to do it as soon as the enemy glows red
Hatchets are a good subweapon to the trashcan or garbage disposal.
brute gets you hit half the time
>japanese game
>literally everything has breasts
why do they do this?
and that's an acceptable tradeoff for a burst counter that literally can NOT fail
maybe this will change when they finally add higher difficulty levels and burst attacks can actually one shot you through the yokai skill/burst damage reduction
I want to suck on Nure-Onna's fat fucking tits.
brute counter is basically useless against the snake boss
made me switch to feral
why is phantom yokai shift so bad
Stats are nowhere near as important for damage as anything else. Don't worry about it. Use anything and everything you want.
Because it's the one where you actually have to get good to use it
Can the +2 attack skill every weapon has be upgraded infinitely?
All of them are terrible.
tokichiro fucked several of these
