You see them relatively often. They're in the derailed train (dead), there's one on a screen talking to somebody and then you kill one at the end. They look identical to their EP2 appearance, pretty much nothing new.

it's weird how there EP2 and HL:A appearance are extremely different then the versions in HL2 and EP1. I though the difference was because the episode 2 one were the hatched/evolved version but i guess it was just at retcon.

I always worried about seeing gordon from an outside perspective, how would they characterize him without ruining the self insert? But seeing him just put on and push his glasses up was perfect.

I'm not too worried about the self-insert aspect, personally, HL1 background info like racing Barney in the air-vents to get into Kleiner's office for fun and the microwave-exploded casserole being canonized show he's a pretty cantankerous guy. Epistle Three seems to show him as a pretty careful, patient and good-hearted guy even if he'll mercy-kill Breengrub.

because fan-work is fan-work and will probably render the model in a scene specifically built to show off how good it looks and then upload it to the internet to do whatever with. this is not the same thing as building a model seen for three seconds and it's not the same thing as building a player-model that won't ever be seen in a first-person game's singleplayer campaign, half-life 2 for example had a gordon model that was only used for promotional renders like the box-art

So it is possible the adivsor that "killed" eli is still alive and is probably pissed off at dying and if it sees time in the same way as the vorts and the gman, it probably also knows that eli was the one that suppose to die and not it's host body.
