Blizzard is not a relevant AAA videogame company anymore. It has only one anticipated videogame in early production stages, which is still 2 years away from release (at best).

OW2 is just non-seasonal co-op missions with a grenade slot that they're trying to sell as a sequel, Shadowlands looks like a poor attempt to mimic Shadowbringers, I lost interest in Hearthstone with their mad science update, I have no desire whatsoever to pay them for any classic remasters, and I don't care to enable them by playing Diablo IV or Immortal.

Most don't actually care about the issue, it's just fun to take any excuse to shit on blizzard because they are talentless hacks that do nothing except put out tepid dogshit that milks that same IP over and over and over again.

The multiplayer was fun, especially with the editor. It even spawned a new genre which is now the most played game and the most popular on twitch.

They have been fucking up like multiple WoW expansions, Diablo 3 with a real money auction house, splitting Starcraft 2 and others things before. I'm not sure if people will really boycott them, I've heard of boycotts that failed too often

Overwatch 2 and Fortnite 2 are two different things. Fortnite could slap whatever number they want on the end of their name and braindead children will still buy outfits. Overwatch "balanced" and limited the selection of characters to the point where it wasn't any fun for anyone. Forced to play characters and roles you do not want, or else the team forcing you into a role can report you and it's within the terms of service to be banned for not listening to their insanity.
