It's a Royal game, it's only fun when you're playing with lots of people all at once. If I wanted to just play Mario, I'd just play Mario.

Of course, but that's not what you were arguing for. Whenever I played MR, the names could be amusing but the real shit of it was competing against other players in fucking SMB to see who could come out on top. That's something previous you had to do on a console with two controllers, or setting up kaillera and and emulator, now totally convenient. That names would be gone in a remake does nothing for me, and only indicates where someone else's priorities are really at: the shit that doesn't pertain to the game.

That said, I don't like these levels so much in this remake so eh.
