Who's Bomb Reviewing?
>Angry Pokemon players?
>Sony users?
>Nintard without any Direct?
Any game that uses a real time clock deserves to be review bombed anyway.
>b-but you can TIME TRAVEL!!
Or I can just play Harvest Moon or Stardew.
lmfao, can't wait for metacritic to get rid of all the negative reviews because they're on Tendo's payroll
Notice how when they like it they're "fans" but when they criticize it they're just "players".
>Look how much of a hipster I am!
Next time you're going to tell me that HK/Ori are good
does anyone actually pay attention to user reviews anyway?
>99,99% of user reviews for any game are either blind fanboys spamming 10s or angry haters spamming 0s
were user reviews a mistake?
>Or I can just play something else
Yes? Why does a whole mechanic need to be banned from gaming because you’re too much of a spoiled bitchbaby? Why does the world need to revolve around YOU all the time?
Unfortunately, yes
This user is the one Resetti yelled at for being a bitch.
nice arbitrary number that's way off the mark
people are simply more likely to rate a 10 or a 0 than a 7 because it makes the game stand out
if you had the choice of rating something extremely mediocre or something that was absolute complete dogshit, you'd likely rate the second as well
>Insert obligatory souls reference
Whats the problem?
One island per switch?
I dont think its a big deal, if you're playing animal crossing on the same switch as somebody else why wouldnt you want to be on their island? I cant even imagine playing animal crossing on my brothers gamecube and just completely fucking off to my own town, would ruin the game for me
the media's attempts to make "review bombing" seem illegitimate or invalid seems absurd to me
if the consumers for the game don't like it and review it poorly, that's just how the review system works
Literally who the fuck cares
If you ever left a review in metacitic you are a retarded nigger no matter if it was a shitpost or not
Imagine giving numbers to art.
Humans are fucking stupid, you all normals dont fucking get it and you never will, this is why we wont conquer the cosmos fuck you all
You can call me a schizo now
My understanding is the switch itself is locked to one town. So even if someone had their own copy of the game, they can't make a town.
>Review bombing 0s for minor quibbles so you can fit in on Yas Forums and /r/kotakuinaction
Anita Sarkeesian and Phil Fish were right. Gamers are the fucking worst.
Why would you have your own copy of the game if you don't have you own switch?
>consumers
You mean seething sonyfags?
Makes sense to me, I dont see what the fuss is, some people are going as far as "IF YOU WANT MORE THAN ONE PERSON TO PLAY YOU NEED MORE SWITCHES" which is completely retarded
the one island per switch thing isnt even a real issue; just save the shit to a different SD card per island you want
>Lots of new accounts spamming 0
Not suspicious at all!
thanks for confirming that it was a mistake because of spastics like you
That's literally what he said. If you think the game is "alright" you won't rate it. Therefore most ratings are by "blind fanboys spamming 10s or angry haters spamming 0s"
Doesn't work that way
People annoyed over the one save per switch thing are giving it 0s.
>so it doesn't affect me
But you're literally posting about it
>one island per switch
fine i can tolerate it whatever
>cut villagers
don't really give a shit theres too many to count anyway
>bugs and fishes missing but coming in later updates
kinda annoying but whatever
>important NPCs and buildings missing that were literally in the previous game that was on a smaller system with weaker hardware
this is where i get mad
Where the fuck is:
The cafe,
Dream Suite,
Post office
Police Station
Salon
The Club
Fortune Telling booth
Kick's Shoe store
Gracie Grace
Accessory Section of Able Sisters
An equivalent to Club Tortimer
Diving and swimming
Home exterior customization other than roof color change
Minigames like the ones on the Island in NL
Museum gift shop/observatory/personal rooms. Celeste has been relegated to an insignificant one-time character.
Unbreakable tools. Apparently even the gold tools break in New Horizons.
A dedicated resale shop like Re-Tail
along with tons of other shit I'm missing, fuck the missing villagers
okay retard.
Let's say two people live in a household, they both want to play animal crossing, they share a switch because who the fuck buys two of the same console for one house.
Well it turns out player 2 can't make his own town, AND HE WANTS TO, on player 1 copy of the game, and it sucks but fair enough a lot of games only have one save file. Like Pokemon
So he goes to buy his own copy of animal crossing, and when he boots it up, it opens his friends town and he can't make his own.
So Nintendo is saying if he wants his own town he needs to buy his own switch
It would be like if you wanted to play smash bros local with your friends you all need to bring your own switch to play and can't just share one console.
That is why people are mad.
When does Yas Forums admit that Nintendo has become EA?
This is the main reason I don't like Animal Crossing. I like to play games at my own pace and AC "forces" you to play at a certain pace by time gating with real life time.
>B-b-b-but you're missing the point! You're supposed to casually play it an hour a day over an entire year to get the full enjoyment!
This just makes the game a chore
imagine not being a NEET
>nintendolife
>mynintendonews
>nintendogo
>nintendosoup
If you dont like a mechanic in a specific game it doesnt make it bad , it just means you dont like it.
you still haven't explain why you're so retarded that you buy a game twice. if you've played on a switch before, you'd know the saved games are on the console.
The problem with user scores is that anyone can make a score for a game, even if they haven't played it, or even if they don't even own the system the game is on. The only change I can think of that might work is if it incorporated a feature like what Miiverse had, where it showed whether you've played the game you're talking about or not, and only counted those reviews.
>Or I can just play Harvest Moon or Stardew.
That's the point jackass. You get on for a couple hours, grow your town just a bit more, than get off and go do other things.
Have many saves do pokemon games have?
Ooopsie!
SwSh has one for every user on the system, which is more than AC. :^)
I cancelled my preorder because of her face
or just do like steam does
Sounds like a shitty mobile game to me
>half the reviews are "can only have 1 island for me and my wife, rated 0"
Top Lel.
>t. trend chasing binge player
That's kind of a dick move
This is just proof every rating between 0 and 10 might as well not exist for normalfags.
There's a reason a lot of places changed to THUMBS UP, THUMBS DOWN.
Or My Time at Portia (which in reallity is just Stardew Valley in 3d for people who are not into 2d gamses [like me]).
Stay mad nindies. Your kiddy games are trash.
And RUIN the magic? Fuck you
Steam is only able to do that because they can track who actually owns the games.
Good luck doing the same as a third party website for every physical and digital console game sale.
It's Astral Chain all over again.
A lot --betting the majority-- don't any other reviews, so they were probably created the day before, too.
>Cafe
Data was found in the code, likely coming later on.
>Dream Suite
Who honestly used this
>Post Office
Mechanic remains in a more condensed form, and that's a good thing. You dont need an entire building dedicated to mailing a fucking letter.
>Police Station
See Post Office
>Salon
See Post Office
>Fortune Telling Booth
What the fuck even was the point of that thing, I never got any use out of it since it was always an item I didnt own.
>Kick's Shoe store
Kick is still in the game isn't he? Why have an entire building dedicated to just shoes?
>Accessory Section
See Kicks, but I find that odd too
>Club Tortimer
You fuckin live on an island now. Even then I can argue Mile Tickets do the same job.
>Diving/Swimming
Likely coming later, or not at all because it could be weird having a swimming border around a deserted island. Either way what does it matter?
>Exterior customization
Okey if that's actually gone I'll agree that it's stupid to be gone, but again it's likely coming later on.
>Minigames
See extorier customization, I am a bit upset that furniture like the switch doesnt let you play a little mini game like the wii u and 3ds did in new leaf.
>Gift Shop
Found in the code I believe, likely coming.
>Unbreakable tools
Gold tools still take a long ass time to break and breaking tools is actually required for one of the nook miles achievements.
>Dedicated resale
Just go to Nook's Cranny, having a seperate shop to sell shit would clutter the island.
tl;dr
shut up, half this shit was condensed so the island wouldnt overflow with buildings so you could keep the idea of living on a big island, and the other half is likely coming later on.
How's your new game release?
Oh wait, you don't have any. Whoopsies.
>all those buildings
Nigger, if I had to put all that crap on my island somewhere I'd kill myself.
Space is tight as it is.
Nioh 2 is awesome. A true chads game, not some sissy crossdressing 5
The game's franchise is not new. Many people who buy it, enjoy AC already and will play AC just fine despite the reviews of random strangers in the internet.
So, whats the point of review bombing? Trying to look though on the internet?
Ok
I was thinking more about showing the recent trend of reviews as well as an overall score
So you can learn if there was a recent change or something and maybe investigate for yourself
This. Say what you want about corrupt or out-of-touch critics, but audience scores are just two teams of retards playing tug-of-war with tens and zeroes.
I'd say 2 given almost every Nintendo game gets reviewbombed now.
HK being good isn’t a hipster opinion.
>Score: 10/10
>"Not quite as good as other games in the series."
>Score: 0/10
>"Not quite as good as other games in the series."
