Skooma addiction
The ultimate fucking around with no clear goal sandbox experience.
go get your reading glasses user
WHIFF WHIFF WHIFF WHIFF
A very good time in a bizarre world, provided you are not retarded and run around swinging a sword you can't use with no stamina.
I already have my reading glasses on right now.
A game defended by nostalgia.
I beat it a week ago and it was fun. Raiding Red Mountain was a nice climax.
A gameworld that feels completely dead and sterile. I loved morrowind as a kid but trying to replay it, I couldn't get immersed any more
interesting lore and worldbuilding, but kludgy gameplay. don't try to run through; take your time and try to learn as you go. stamina matters, pick one weapon skill, and honestly use madd leveler because the default level/attribute system is retarded.
Stop, people like you will never understand these masterpieces no matter how much you try.
Use mods. Most autists will chimp out because muh first time experience must be unmodded but trust me, it's better that way.
I want to play vanilla first.
good times
Go for the boots of blinding speed when you've had enough, or start with The Steed.
lets put it this way, I would erase my Memory, just to play this Game again like I have never seen it before
A solid RPG that's massively overrated.
Saying "use mods" is useless advice for a beginner. There are a million mods and many are shit/poorly integrated or completely change the experience.
I'd just get "better bodies" as a first timer and download the free plug-ins Bethesda has on their site so you get to experience the vanilla game.
Agree going with Steed first playthrough can be nice for better walk speed.
You're in for a decent but lonely experience. The game is huge and it's fun to explore the different nooks and crannies. The problem though is it's just a completely lifeless game. The story is pretty cool I guess, and the weapons and armor are also neat. Also magic is fucking awesome in this game. But all in all, it just hasn't aged well. Thankfully there are some good mods out there, I recommend playing the game in vanilla first but after that do what you want.
>it's just a completely lifeless game.
I disagree
Surprise buttfuck the first time you're gonna rest if you don't disable the tribunal addon.
Get your spares handy.
Video immersion is a luxury afforded only to people who think everything is ok.
I played it for the first time last year and now its one of my favourites. This guy is a fag
DIE FETCHER
worst stamina system in games
one of the worst combat systems in 3d rpgs
ugly visuals
brokenness
repeated text
lifeless world
Needing a lot of mods to fix shit. The always hit mod is mandatory.
it always sucked. even back in 2005 when I played it in the XBOXHUEG
I tried it 2 years ago, didnt get too far before i gave up for unknown reasons
Game takes a long time and is tedious
It felt like its full of content and overall very good
i would never shit on it for its faults but im worse than an average zoomer shitbag retard with an attention span of a goldfish due to jewish subterfuge in media
Its a good game, some would say great, but takes lot of time to finish
Last thing i remember i was doing was doing legion shit, when Vladimir Putin told me to choose a guild first then something something something, so i choose Legion, had 2 handed sword and heavy armor in mind, did a few cities, got blind sanic boots and last thing i went out to do and did, was to retrieve a bronze sprocket or lever from a midget den
Then i went to near volcano pass and ran into gimps that went AHAHAH AHAHAHA HAHAHAAAA
and realized they are magic and i need magic or silver to harm them
Not even the pterodactyls would harm them, only me and i was shit with magic, only used healing and my sword wasnt magic, i had a magic one when i killed ghosts but sold it for profit to bribe npcs because i couldnt find any ways around to finish quests
Last thing i planned was to put on blind sanic boots and gtfo to nearest shop
but i never did, lost the save when computer died
Zoom off home champ, I think Fortnite is more your speed.
Can you post THAT khajit webm
Couple of good guilds with fun quests, lots of dungeon crawling shitty quests, annoying main quest that stole everything from Wheel of Time, shittiest combat ever, OP vampiric ring, thief class that actuallly makes sense, fun expansions.
You must be 18 to post here
If you can get past the slow walking speed and dated graphix it's an amazing experience
It's pretty fun but I always burn out around level 12. I hate how ugly most the armour is and I've hit the point where I know where some of the best weapons in the game are available within 10 minutes so I'm never sure how to balance myself without it becoming unfun
>I hate how ugly most the armour is
this is why I pretty much always go unarmored, since the clothes look pretty nice at least
The single most important information I can give you is that you should join the mages guild, steal the alchemy materials from their caldera guildhall (in the tower, nobody patrols there to check), and then start combining ash yams and netch leather in potions. You'll thank me later.
The best elder scrolls game and one of the best stories of all time.
Getting cussed at by every npc, peasants included.
MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS MISS *gets knocked down* MISS MISS MISS MISS
Skyrim but worse graphics
>not stealing the grandmaster mortar straight from the altmer bitch in Balmora
>not making a 100% Sanctuary gear
pulling that off easily requires you to have played through the mages guild starter quests a few times, this is for fresh starts. nobody ever goes into the tower of the guildhall in caldera and there's a full set of alchemical gear.
I did it even before joining the Mage's guild on my first playthrough. Stealing from shops is a must.
>one of the best stories of all time.
I've put 200 hours into it and don't even know what the game is about.
Killing god
>cast drain skill 100
>pay 1 gold for training
based mechanics
Why yes, I returned Fargoth's ring to the barrel after I completed the tutorial. Stealing's wrong.
>temporarily stack resist magic until 100%
>put on boots of blinding speed
>remove magic resit
>you can still see
>enchant clothes with stamina regen
>unlimited stamina
>pick argonian female
>put on slave bracers
>pop a boner as my magic drains
Where do you get a drain or damage skill effect
>tfw
Tedious start, fun to explore the gameplay mechanics and how amazingly broken/funny you can become. Bit frustrating with the repeated text, combat mechanics, really OP assassins spawning on you if you have the DLC installed (at least they give you endgame armour though), and walkspeed.
A lot of people like how people can misremember or lie about directions but honestly it doesn't couple well with low runspeeds
>cast fortify attribute on self, soul trap on target while looking at floor
>Permanent attribute bonuses
based
here he comes
I don't remember, guild mage, telvanni or temple probably
Moonmoth. No place to get a damage skill spell though.
ah yes it was the lady in the dungeons
did people actually have trouble with the dark brotherhood assassins? i was really thankful for them, i used the money i got from pawning their gay looking armor to fund my first skooma binges
it's not really a problem since you can just try resting until he doesn't spawn
What's a good build starting out? I hear that the pre-made ones and the test give you a pile of shit for a class. I want to use swords, what's the best armor class? Any QoL skills?
magic is really useful in general, just select a weapon skill as major so you can actually start being able to land hits. I don't like armor because it weighs too much
do whatever you want, but the most important thing is to find a broken gimmick and to abuse it maliciously.
I'm too stupid for all that, can't the game be played normally? Or is it busted to where you have to do those things?
