There's too many cutscenes about things I don't care about. A large majority of my time was me just wanting the fucking plot to disappear because it wasn't interesting at all.

Well, hold on there. I thought the game was fun despite my complaints about the very cliché anime-styled plot where 1 thing happens and every character has a 10 minute monologue for it. At least the gameplay is cool and I like the character customization (mostly. Wish it had a bigger tit slider)

The only good thing about the updates was being able to watch cutscenes again.

The base game is still great.
The DLC is budget dev mentality shit and should have been scrapped in favor of a story expansion as soon as it became clear that the game was going to do well.

Real shame that the final boss is such an unfun mess after the fight right before it was incredible and felt like a perfect final test. Overall the game is really solid, though if you hate "anime bullshit" the story will drive you up the wall.

Code Vein is the only game in this genre that I couldn't beat legitemately.
I just couldn't do shit against cannoneer and blade bearer without using summon.
My best attempt I managed to get in maybe 5 hits before dying.

Just enable companions not doing so is a dumb personal handicap that you don't really need to do to get the full experience

Bullshit.
I did beat the game eventually. But as I said, I literally counld't do shit against those two bosses. Yet I beat them first try without any problems at all once I used a companion.
I didn't get the experience of beating the boss. Because literally all the challenge was gone.
Had I used companions for the rest of the game, I would have given it a 3/10 for being way way to easy.

Its bugged for some people and did not drop.

Well, that's an Aragami from God Eater called Dyaus Pita.
The way Aragamis work is that they are compromised of millions of individual organisms that make up the monster.
That's why Aragamis can take up some really weird and creepy shapes.

Compared to Dark Souls (or even God Eater) DLC it's pretty much a joke. I could forgive it if they would at least give us some new outfits and hairstyles to work with, but they only do that for your partner for reasons that escape me.

Its funny that GE3 has been getting constant FREE DLC that has more substance than paid CV ones.
