Not him but crystal cave and duke archives have interesting exploration mechanics while not being overly big areas to tire you out on said mechanics. I would also put blighttown as medium. There are things to overlook for such a simplistic looking place. That is an aspect that is always fun in a DaS game.

Iron Keep part 2 annoys the shit out of me with that bonfire that leads up to Belfry Sol. Any time I need to do something in that room, my mind jumps to that bonfire as being the closest but it really isn't... Fuck that bonfire...

DS2 has mostly terrible levels, Heide's is only good visually, undead copse or whatever it's called is shit, Earthen Peak is shit, Black Gulch is shit, everything after the chest high wall that you can't climb over is shit except for the Dragon Aerie, Sinner's Rise is shit. Iron Keep post-Smelter is complete shit. The multiplayer areas in both DLCs are a complete joke.

The only good levels in Dark Souls 1 were Sen's, Undead Parish and Anor Londo. Demon's Souls was the one that truly had no bad levels, hence it's the best in the series.

You didnt even mention the best level, painting world. And undead asylum is by far the best tutorial level in Souls. Demon's Souls has weak ass levels as well they are just caried by the game's atmosphere. 2-2, 4-2 and every single level to the arch demons.
Anyway Bloodborne is the most consistent quality wise. 2nd half of forbidden woods and the lecture buildings are weak but the rest are top quality stuff.

DS3 is literally babby's first dark souls. It's the safest and most blandest of all DS games. Literally the entire thing can be summed up as" "Oh remember DS1? That was good r-right? Pls don't hate us"

The fact that most normalfags only complain about Blighttown is proof that it serves as an excellent casual filter, because TotG is the true hell of the game.

There was that level where reindeers come rape you and at the end of the level is a rehash of a previous hard boss but two of them. Oh and if you die start over from the beginning

The art direction in 3 is better than 1 and 2. The bosses are more challenging and creative than 1 or 2 and have better backstories. The music and environments are better. The final sequence is better. PVP and online is better. The Gear is better. The fashion is better. Everything is better in 3 imo and I’ve played every Souls game from start to finish.

I’m curious what it is about 1 or 2 that nostalgia bros are on about.

you arent wrong but the build varitey sucked dick in 3, mostly because most of the weapon types except longswords were underwhelming. As for online, well for some reason I kept getting glitches like not being able to go into the boss fog or bosses freezing so you can just kill the boss without getting hit

No it isnt, heavy weapons don`t do enough damage to compensate for their slow speed, and I`m not talking about pvp I`m talking about pve.

I don`t know man unless they changed it it didn`t really feel like that to me, the bosses are 2fast and it seemed better to have a fast weapon with high dps instead of a big club. I`ll probably try another playthrough later.
