Midir is piss easy. All bosses in 3 are.
Like Demon of Hatred, it's a "system" boss. There's a right way to beat it and a bunch of wrong ways. Most of the difficulty is being able to get the right method.
Still, probably the hardest boss in that game, especially if you don't look up any videos or guides
But that’s Dickeater Midir
Because 3 is actually fluid unlike the previous clunky installments.
lolwhat? you just whack its face and roll back. repeat xinfinity
Get a long-reaching weapon with a decent overhead swing, two-hand the entire time, whack his head, and dodge/strafe every attack. You can almost always roll through his fire.
More.
Stay in front of the boobs otherwise she'll be a huge bitch.
>Female
>""""""Monster"""""" girl
Just stick to the head you casual.
god i want her to keep me as her pet
The breasts need to hang more naturally and more at the shameless mercy of gravity.
Imagine being eaten by her haha
They're angled as if she is in motion.
DaS3 has Dancer just draw her if you want to draw sexy DaS bosses.
Never bothered with Midir. 2 much HP.
Fact: every game is improved with giant women boss fights
Nobody wants BirdTreeMan's sloppy seconds.
I get that, but I feel there is a neglect of breasts being in a fluid mercy just dangling in all dimensions.
I want her to hold me like a stuffed animal
>The quality of the boss is proportional to how many times I died at it
Like Demon of Hatred, Midir is a boss from different game (in Midir's case it's BB). Just use the weapon that deals the highest damage and use its R2 attack on his head ONCE (fully charged one is prefered) and then get away from his head (but not too far away). Anything beyond one hit and you risk of being hit by some of Midir's patterns.
In general - stay in front of his head (but not too close), learn the spacing of his superdash (so you can run away in advance and be near Midir's head after his dash to land a hit), learn the timing of rolls (especially for his claw + fire combo, because he use it twice in a row in second phase).
It's this thinking that makes Skeleton Lords a highly underated fight.
it's really not complex. Midir has an AI that utilizes a harsher, evasive move set if you aren't sticking directly in front on him where he's the most intimidating.
But his move set is a lot more managable if you do so.
The point of Midir is to not be a pussy. He's basically Gaping dragon but done right.
That thinking made a lot of fun fights underrated. Same goes with the idea that any form of gimmick is bad.
From 3 I really like both Crystal Sages and Deacons, they are really good versions of extremely shitty fights in the previous games (Pinwheel and Congregation), but since they are not world-ending combats and for once don't require you to dodge roll around an armored knight they have to be shit. I will never understand this community.
I had no problem with Crystal Sage, he was cool. I still feel Deacon's needed something more though.
Deacons of the Deep was a last minute addition that arose from the fact that they just couldn't get the original Aldritch boss to work correctly. The Deacons were simply NPCs that were supposed to be in a cutscene right before the fight, but then transformed into the boss itself.
I don't really care about what happened during development, the end result is still a pretty fun encounter. All of the 3 games are absolute disasters from the development point of view, with bosses being simply swapped around, content being cut all the time and From overestimating their abilities.
Imagine what DS3 and BB could've been if they hadn't cut 80% of their stuff
You have to admit they went a little fucking overboard with the gimicks. The AIDS tree, high lord skeleton, the plunging attack wyvern, yhorm being an absolute fucking chore if you don't use stormbringer, a lot of crappy design
I've been looking at mods recently, how's that Cinder mod? It looks like it changes a lot of stuff. Worth a play or does it fall into that category of big overhaul mods where the modders have no vision and just keep bloating it up with more and more half-assed systems and shit balance?
There is literally nothing wrong with gimmicks, the only one of these I have problems with is that Yhorm is clearly unfinished, it feels like it should've been far longer -with- Stormbringer, with a bigger arena and more setpieces.
Curse-Rotted Greatwood is cool. Pretty easy once you know how to do it, but still cool regardless.
Don't you have to go buy fake antennae so you can fuck your dog anonkun?
Just beat Shura for first time. Hard. Not the hardest. 16 deaths, which put him below Sword Saint, Corrupted Monk, Great Shinobi Owl, and Butterfly (yeah...). Umbrella is the best tool in the game.
Skill tree maxed out, all items, all memories, all beads, all endings. I think I've beaten Sekiro. Man, what a game. Flaws and all, I'd say it's my favorite of past 5 years.
Not gonna lie, having to fight this boss for the fourth time in the series got boring real fast. Fool's idol wasn't such an interesting boss they needed to bring it back every damn time
If DSP can do it, anyone can
Useless upgrades
Useless tools
Useless items
Endless miniboss recycling to the point normal enemies with tons of inflated hp are minibossess too
Genichiro "Oh, I just got a second mortal blade" Ashina
Stand still and parry
I wanna fuck that dragon.
There's a big problem with the other bosses I mentioned, and that's that the weak point mechanic makes them trivially easy, especially the ancient wyvern
>useless opinion
>Too Easy, Boss sucks
Again, this is the logic that has ruined these games. A boss doesn't need to be hard to be good or interesting and just because a couple encounters don't have you die three hundred times doesn't mean they have problems. 90% of dark souls 3, as much as I like it, revolves on rolling incoming attacks with varying levels of animation delays, a change of pace isn't that terrible a sin. Ancient wyvern is not even the boss, running to it and then dropping down is the boss, it's basically a variation on the Dragon God boss minus the stealth
>Don't care
>Don't care
>Don't care
>You got that backwards
>Don't care
>Jesus we got a roll-shitter
Literally impossible
Gwyndolin Aldy is probably a much better fight than what they were going for. From can't get a slime fight to work because Slime Fights are inherently shit.
Keep seething lmao
this is starting to get weird, user
>>Jesus we got a roll-shitter
It's the opposite user, standing still and parrying denies 99% of the game. It's retarded.
Fool's Idol was only interesting because it was your very first "fuck you" for not exploring the level before entering the boss room. After learning that you get used to exploring every single fucking bit of level (at least the obvious ones, you can still miss hidden walls and such) before going to boss room because there's always a chance that the boss will at least get easier if you find something beforehand (DaS2 went way too hard with it, though - I think there's at least 4 bosses who have this gimmick).
please tell me theres actual shit in the rest of the art
Well they didn't HAVE to make rolls so fucking powerful and cheap that the whole game had to be balanced around them.
>Fromsoft bosses turned into lewd chick versions of themselves
>Try to hit giant boss with my dagger
>My body is kept a set distance from the giant boss
>This prevents my weapon from reaching this target the size of a fucking house
I really hate this effect
just checked on pixiv. there isnt.
>Nameless king phase 1
>Try to hit the dragon with a sword that must be 3m long
>Somehow i can't reach him unless he lowers his head
I hate it
The Phalanx was a fun fight.
What did people think of big daddy bones in DS3? I beat the High Lord Whatshisname almost by accident very quickly on my first go and haven't replayed it since so I don't know if he's normally very difficult or not.
The distances / depth perception are pretty fucked in this fight due to the lack of actual floor.
He's pretty much RNG - he can either spam you with skeletons and big sword spam (which can easily kill you from overhaul of stuff that bites your ass) or just lazily fling his arms around (which leads to easy bracelet break). He's a puzzle boss, one of four in this game, and I'm sad that a concept of big bad skeleton got wasted on it.
Yhorm shares the similar disappointment, but at least it's cool if you progress Siegward's quest forward and get to see onionbro BTFO a huge ass giant all by himself.
user, i....
Guys, I played DaS1 long time ago and I forgot lots of things. Please, PLEASE tell me that Capra Demon, aka a guy you fight along with 2 dogs in the area size of a toilet room on a train station, is an optional fight. Because he hits fucking hard and my pure sorcerer (no weapons, no shield) can't survive it.
Also, is it true that DEX raises speed cast in DaS1? I've seen people saying it does, and some say it doesn't.
Also, if Toxin is basicalyl a poison, why can't I cure Toxin with item that heals poison? It makes absolutely no sense. I get ass raped at Blighttown (I haven't reached 1st bonfire there lol) because there are some faggots who keep throwing Toxin Knives at me all the time.
>playing with the master key
Go back, make a new save from scratch and remove the master key from your inventory
