I love Apple's products. Sadly, macOS doesn't get much support when it comes to video games. Not going to use Windows and Linux is for NEET neckbeard virgins. My best solution was to use Wine. Played Tony Hawk, Condemned, Hitman: Blood Money, Need for Speed, Prince of Persia, etc. It was a below average experience. It's tolerable but the issues are vastly noticeable which is to be expected.

Lots of the titles require serious tweaking and tinkering. Some just have random issues like Tony Hawk not working after you tab out and back in or Hitman sometimes not launching. Decided to meet Microsoft in the middle and get an Xbox One X. It's pretty much a Windows 10 Lite PC which plays games. Pretty convenient because Microsoft seems to be supporting a lot of classic titles. Can't believe Chaos Theory has been renewed for the Xbox One X. So has Psychonauts. Can't wait to play those.

If you love playing old PC games you need an Xbox One X. Seriously. They will perform better on a device they were specifically ported to than some Windows machine with the latest video card. Just finished New Vegas again and it's fantastic. Just as shitty and buggy as I remember.

I really enjoyed Icewind Dale for being battle after battle, but damn I had to min/max the characters a lot initially, had to cheese more encounters than Baldur's Gate too.
Also expansion is boring trite

I was lucky enough to get good enough rolls that I didn't always have to dump too much. Sometimes it seems like they throw too much stuff at you at once to the point that you have try to pull some enemies away from the group or use some other cheese just to reduce the numbers. Especially low level.

It doesn't seem old to you and me because 2010 still feels like it wasn't long ago, but, it is almost 10 years old. To put that into perspective it's practically what FF7 was in 2007. Hate to break it to you, but it is actually getting old now and so are we.

New Vegas released almost 10 years ago. When it comes to technology, Apple has always been consistent for me in my life. The 'Apple tax' is real but it's worth every penny. Aside from not being able to afford their products, I've never heard of anyone who sincerely thought that Apple provided an inferior experience. Difficult to explain unless you're in the 'family'. It's just a different experience.

I wouldn't say the experience is inferior due to anything that's their fault. Most games just aren't really programmed for it anymore since the death of the Apple 2. But it is kind of pointless to buy one, these days, and the price tag is certainly not worth it at all.

Loved both games but 2 feels a bit short, maybe its just me.

I am, just got done with a sort of forgotten one, No One Lives Forever. Apparently a bunch of licensing issues so you have to DL it from a fansite. Going to play NOLF2 soon.
