>you play another section with Carlos, going through the police station to find intel on an Umbrella researcher
>back to Jill, she has a bossfight with mutated-dog-nemesis / Licker Nemesis (looks as bad as it sounds, I don't have a picture of it) in front of the clock tower (which is not even explorable, sadly)
>Jill gets infected, Carlos drags her away to the hospital, where the researcher he now has intel on was working on a cure

And that's pretty much it so far. There's been two or three screenshots leaked of a final Nemesis boss fight, where he looks like Birkin's last blob-form

This game honestly feels rushed, looking at all that's been revealed. It's missing entire sections of classic RE3.

Couple questions:
1. Do you get anything for destroying all bobbleheads? I didn't even realise I was supposed to break them until I got the result screen.
2. Are the wrecked cars really just decoration? I humped every inch of them trying to find prompts.
3. Why do I keep fucking up the action dodge? Am I supposed to do it like a full second in advance cause doing it reactively just got me bitten.

RE2make was a lot more faithful to the source material, even borrowing from the beta 1.5. I was bummed by that game skipping the Factory because of the comfy atmosphere and throwback in RE Zero.

I'll have to play it for myself, but I don't think I'd be satisfied with a trade-off of omitting an explorable Clock Tower & Dead Factory in favor of an expanded Hospital.

Just finished Remake. Such a fucking masterpiece. It's been ages since I played it so I finished it in 14 hours lmao. It got me realising just how much I still absolutely LOVE tank controls and fixed camera and how it's the best mixture for survival horror.

There's a bit in the lab where you have to shoot loads of Chimera that comes running through vents and shit and I was loving it. Felt like Ripley in a fucking Alien scene. Just orgasmic.

If only we'd have got RE2 and RE3 in the style of the first REmake...

Anyway this D3make cut so much and butchered so much shit that I cancelled my pre-order. I don't want an Uncharted experience in a "Resident Evil" skin.

I hope so, the designs of STARS Alpha/Bravo Team designs are really silly.
They don't even look like a Special Forces, they look like a bunch of shitty cosplayers.
Capcom need to change the uniforms, make them more military, tactical in a realistic sort of way or at least change the colours to a darker tone.

If you really think about it this demake isn't actually even RE3. Some names are the same but the soul isn't intact. Too much has been left out and it's a watered down experience. If you look past the nostalgia bait, it's just a cinematic cashgrab with scripted segments aimed at the lowest common denominator who have never played any of the classic RE games. It truly is.

These remakes are happening so the series can move away from all classic characters in leading roles, RE8 is absolutely guaranteed to have a new cast, with some classic char being a cameo and a DLC campaign at best.

I dunno if it was totally by accident on Capcom's part, but a lot of podunk police departments had these rag tag "tactical" units like STARS back in the 90's so it's semi accurate from that perspective. Mostly it was just an excuse to blow post-Oklahoma City government grant money on cool toys like helicopters and machine guns to fuck around with during "training exercises".
