Free Cities is probably the closest to actual enjoyable gameplay, but only if you're big into management simulations. The sex is pretty minimal though, you basically have to fill in the gaps in your head to get off.

Think making gameplay of the porn instead of it being a cutscene reward or an animation player is a better approach? The closest thing I can think of "stance" systems like in degrees of lewdity or tales of androgyny. Those are turn based and kinda unsatisfying, though. I imagine real-time wrestling gameplay where you need to maintain (or surrender) control with continuous one-handed input.

I have to disagree with Evenicle. I wanted it to be good, but it's just poorly designed and too anime in all the bad ways. Definitely doesn't help that the first sex scene is a really drawn out rape. Also, all the lewd is just VN style anyway. Night of Revenge has real promise, and has pretty constant updates.

The problem with sex games is the idea of what the "gameplay" is.

We can do the standard thing, where the game-play exists in a vacuum, and the sex scenes are just cut-scenes. It works, but it leaves a lot to be desired from the sex aspect. If the gameplay is no good, it's easier to just watch the cut-scenes online. There's also the issue of cost and reward. Is anyone going to bother putting in the time for a 1 MINUTE max sex scene (And let's be real, its actually 10-15 seconds composed of looping animation) if the gameplay is shit?

If the game is gonna be shit, the cut-scenes better be much better than normal. At that point, why not make a short movie?

On the other hand, you can have the sex BE the gameplay, but how exactly do you win, or do it? If the gameplay is too hot, you're gonna have to make the controls simpler so it could be played with one hand, and that's going to severely limit what kind of gameplay you could have. Gameplay is either going to be so easy its not worth it, or not necessarily hard— but require enough focus that the sex aspect has become secondary. Sex games are in a strange spot.

So there is rarely anything that adds to it so the wall is there and who can actually break it?
