does epic 7 have separate servers or anything i need to know about the NA server? also i remember reading something about the gacha having different units in different pools?

Only FEH and I mainly just do it for pulls by now. I try to bruteforce most content with raw stats since I can't be arsed to keep track of dozens of skills and try to "predict" how the AI moves.
AL was a chore and although it gave you tons of stuff to work with, it doesn't give you the space you need for it.
Konosuba gacha was a disappointment by not giving you ANY quartz or whatever it's called.

Dokkan. I tried to get away from it but quarantine dragged me back in and Treasure Cruise just wasn't cutting it.
It's better than Dokkan, gameplay wise, but it has too many hurdles in the way.
Like, I'm glad it's not as braindead easy as Dokkan where a 3 year old team can still beat most of the new content with ease that lingers on for over a month, but having to build ultra specific teams for each shitty story event that's only available for a day or two is too much also. A sweet spot between the two games would be pretty perfect.
At least I'm pretty sure Dokkan manipulates the rates for returning players since I pulled 2 of the new Bardock immediately as I returned.
I also have a JP account I log into very rarely but everytime I do it after a long period I get insane pull, we're talking brand new unit on a single consistently over several months.
So that's something, not that it helps much since Dokkan's just going to go back into "sit on your ass until the anniversary", mode as soon as I'm finished farming the free Bardock team.
Really wish they made more than just 10 SBR stages a year and didn't deliver them on the anniversary only. Ultimate Clash is the only fun mode and that's only once per month. I can only grind EZAs for zeni for so long reeeeeeeeee

Mostly grinding for the mats and exp to be leveling Saber. I got her in the rate up and she's been special to me for a long ass time so it's nice to finally get her. She showed up on literally my last possible roll for her too. Felt special especially since it was still better-than-the-odds.

My Support page is starting to look pretty nice, full of characters I like. Main, Saber, Assassin and Berserker are set. Definitely want Kuro for Archer after they rerun her event. Not sure who I want for Lancer, Rider or Caster long term. Summer BB would be nice for Other.

Regardless, with Saber and Jack I have my two favourite servants now. Definitely gonna grail both to 100.

I've asked in a few threads what would be a nice gacha for someone who has never played one and I've only gotten recommendations loaded with complaints and warnings. Is there a simple, fun, near objectively enjoyable gatcha or do they all exist to torment you for not spending real money.

I did handful of multis and didn't get a single featured unit. It's ogre.

Azur Lane is alright. Gameplay is not the deepest, but once you get built up a little you can run it while you do other things. The game dumps resources on you and the rates are incredibly generous, the only reason to spend money is on cosmetics. Plus there's an event starting in a few days.

Haven't played for like 2 weeks, last couple events were shit.

I've started Stella Maiden and it's kind of cool. Good cunny and titty, but it's just so disappointing. No voices or JP and overall real shallow; you'll have already experienced everything there is after an hour or so. It's annoying because they could've done so much more.

Well, many of them give you f2p stuff to hold your ground pretty well and several free pulls for new players.

The best time to get into any gacha is during a big event or even better it's anniversary because there will be a really good banner and will give a ton of free stuff.

All non PvP focused gachas can be f2p friendly.

I only play FEH because I actually really enjoy the gameplay.

Just did all my dailies and spent almost 100 orbs rolling for a god damn Bernie to feed to my L!Lucina.

On another note, Lysithea is my new favorite unit by a fucking mile. Rolled 4 of her, got a +Att roll, and holy Christ her damage is absolutely nuclear.
