no Banner lord thread
I'm truly disappointed Yas Forums
1 week till release
>I'm truly disappointed
now imagine how disappointed you will be in a week
explain why?
I have no expectations, so even if it's completely unplayable I won't be disappointed.
>still no price
I got a bad feeling bros, if its triple a price I'm not purchasing it.
the price was announced weeks ago, dumbfuck
It will suck for a long time until it gets patches, mods and bugfixes, hard to get excited so early.
Look on the bright side:
You could have Yas Forums full of threads with nothing but TORtanicfags trying to make this look like a total blunder.
Even if it is just warband hd it will be good, stop pretending otherwise faggot
He's one of the couple psychopaths who've been shitposting in bannerlord threads being killjoys.
I haven't checked this thread past the third post but I bet the
>I was super excited for it but they took too long and now I dont want to play it
retard has shitposted yet again
Which playstyle is more fun?
RP:ing or powergaming?
M&B is the kind of game where either one can be a good answer.
Roleplaying a certain character is definitely possible and has its rewards, but it's also very fun to break the system ( bow user in warband getting headshots behind a wall of huscarls, etc )
It's going to be $49.99, which is technically not AAA, but all I'll say is that at that price, it had better damn well be more entertaining than Warband.
I'll try to pick it on same sale at 35$ or so, I am fine with waiting for a while since M&B is a mess early with bugs.
tfw I have lived to see the day Bannerlord releases, but my shitty PC that can barely run warband at 150 won't be able to run it.
Fellas, I never ever took over calradia in warband but I have to try before this comes out
any fucking tips for doing so? I'm thinking low honour so I can keep raiding 24/7
>an entire decade between releases
>hasn't upgraded pc
this is your fault
>posting the same thread 3 times a day
Warband was apparently "early access" when it came out. Dosen't make much sence to me considering it was sold mostly on disc. Any oldfags play it on release?
Both at the same time, which is want happens when you play as a Chad knight steamrolling Calradia with your heavy cavalry and lances.
multiplayer upsets me a lot, it feels like only pros play skirmish because every game I've joined is a game I've lost
there are people dedicated to shitting on the game and acting like schizoids determined to say the game will be a scam and flop despite us pretty much knowing everything about it at this point and knowing what to expecting from an early access release
i mean for fuck's sake the game's even been in playable beta for months
Patches were well established as a thing by the time Mount and Blade came out, let alone when Warband came out.
Only brainlets play m&b for the multiplayer.
Too many faggots discussing DOOM and Animal Crossing. This is what happens when Yas Forums is overrun by wagies and normies who are all stuck at home. Bannerlord has been forgotten.
The original Mount and Blade had an early access digital-only release which is what most people refer to. Warband had a paid beta period for those who wanted in, but it wasn't really early access per se.
Regardless, it has been a thing Taleword has done from the beginning, and they've been good about delivering on their promises. The "LE ALL EARLY ACCESS GAMES ARE UNFINISHED SCAMS XD" thing is something only zoomer retards who parrot ecelebs believe.
only the multiplayer is available in the beta at the minute. I'll play singleplayer as soon as its available
MnB Napolionic multiplayer is patrician-tier though.
Mountain Blade came out in that weird time where there were still independent digital storefronts selling shit, I got it directly from Taleworlds. Both had closed betas and Warband had another paid closed beta. Warband's testing period did not last as long, for obvious reasons.
To see a similar situation, Starsector is a game distributed via indy online storefront but with an exponentially longer "paid beta" period.
How was the early access? Did it feel complete enough or was it lacking?
>DOOM is for normies
Oh how the mighty have fallen
I do not remember, that was 13 years ago or so. I was in undergrad and drunk off my ass all the time.
Calm down
If I recall with the original Mount and Blade they just had more bugs in the unfinished version and 1-2 features they didn't have quite done yet. Pretty much the same as what they're doing today. Except with today I think they're also doing early access to get feedback for balancing factions/weapons in both SP and MP.
I don't know how I feel about the game launching without the ability to manage your own kingdoms and other cool features. Might take me out of enjoying the game.
IIRC the only 3 missing features are managing your own kingdom, weapon crafting and rebellions. They said the game is like 90% done.
Im about to start Warband.
I wish to kill mudslimes and potentially have fun. What should I do?
They are almost always the strongest faction in my playthroughs (I play with mods though). Just take your time.
>Oh how the mighty have fallen
Doom was always for normies. It was so normie that it had widespread attention and led to the creation of the ESRB.
Several planned single player features may be missing or incomplete. These include but are not limited to: full game controller support, some skill and perk effects, crafting, some aspects of sieges, and clan, army and kingdom management.
>not limited to
So we can't manage one at all or are some features missing from doing so?
how much of the game is ready for march 31?
i was under the impression most of the systems are there.
Bump for spoonfeeding
On release:
>Not every location will be unique. (Maps for Towns, Castles and Village)
>A portion of planned quests may be missing entirely, and those in the game may be using placeholder maps, animations, etc.
>Balancing will be tweeked as time goes on
>Some voice lines may be missing
>Limited localization
>Mouse and keyboard only
>SOME aspects of sieges, clan, army and kingdom management

Take your meds
If you want to kill actual Muslims, try the AD 1253 mod sometime where you can larp as a crusader
what will be faster to download with crap internet, steam or epic? Steam is kinda slow but epic seems just as slow or slower. GOG is fine but that's not an option.
Will everyone d/l-ing from steam on 31st make steam slower or is that just made up insanity?
only recruit lords that are loyal , otherwise they'll take their land and leave you later on
>>Mouse and keyboard only
based
And it's not even true, you use joytokey or xpadder to set up a controller yourself and it works fine in the beta

Shit, I think I'll wait for a year.
That game was and still is legitimate garbage though...
Have any price points been discussed yet? Since it's only early access, I figure around 30-35 dollars.
First off, yes Doom is for normies. Secondly, if you aren't brain damaged you can see that Yas Forums is filled with mostly flavor of the month, anime/coomer, and meta threads.
Do we know if the game will even be playable upon release?
Looking at the steam page didnt fill me with hope.
Peeps been playing the beta and have been enjoying it, so I'd assume so.
I really want to RP as a bandit this time around. If the player gets a permanent camp/ town, that'd be even better. I'll behead every lord and their kin.
50
cant wait to pirate this shit
too high
Steam handles AAA game downloads. Bannerlord should not be an issue
Controller in general sounds like a nightmare to play in M&B
