Which Route did you pick?
Which Route did you pick?
The route where I don't play shit games.
Golden Deer. because every other option is filled with idiots fueled by nothing but misplaced hatred.
Golden Deer
yellow one, not a very god game anyway
Golden Deer
>only lord who isn't insane
>only route where you actually find out what's really going on and do something about it
>only route which which ties back to the opening cinematic
>only route where the second battle at Gronder even a tiny bit of sense
>unique final boss theme that's the best song in the game, while Blue Lions and Black Eagles share their final boss theme
It's called Golden Deer because it's the golden route.
CF but the writing was abysmal. I don't know how are there people who can stand it enough to actually play all routes.
Church
Nice
Blue Lions as first playthrough, Rey happy with my choice.
If I do return to the game it’ll probably be with Golden Deer.
They sold this shit three times? Nintendies are biggest cucks in the game industry.
They didn't. They sold it once with an expansion.
Cope nintendie
Not for this game, but they did do it before
The only one that actually felt like a group of friends.
You can tell ignatz fucks all the females on that route.
>First playthrough
Black Eagles. Easily the worst route in the entire game, I was expecting it to be like Code Geass, but Edelgard's character is absolutely retarded and none of the character motivations make any sense. Overall, it was just as bad as Fates and almost made me quit the game halfway through.
>Second time
Golden Deer, which surprisingly was the best route, had the best characters and the best final boss music.
>Third run
Blue Lions, which is pretty much the standard Fire Emblem game except the main lord is Punished Snake. Pretty good, but was a bit lacking in the subplot with the dubstep mole people. The conclusion of the subplot with the Tragedy of Duscur also felt pretty rushed and disappointing.
I didn't play the Church route, but heard it was basically Golden Deer except with no grumpy bandit final boss. I might do it once to romance dragon mommy, but that's about it.
It was a mediocre entry in the franchise and the shitty fujo artist didn't help. The maps are completely forgettable and the gameplay lacks depth. I rate it a 6/10.
Blue Lions because it the only non-pozzed route.
the one with the best girls
>a nigger
>a woman
>a normal guy
mmm i wonder who i will pick?
Blue Lions like all men of taste
In my GD run Ignatz was the only one who ended up a pure virgin.
>but was a bit lacking in the subplot with the dubstep mole people.
This is a good thing
Like FFT and Tactics Ogre the devs felt the need to ruin a perfectly good war story with retarded supernatural/ancient evil shit which was not the strong point of the story at all in any of those games
Blue Lions, wasn't disappointed
black eagles and then i tried to play again as blue lions but hey why the FUCK did they make the plot diverge halfway through the fucking game and penalize you for skipping all the social stuff? abysmal design for a game meant to be played multiple times, i didn't even get to the timeskip cause i got so bored playing through the same first half again
Why isn't Claude upside down?
>blind first playthrough
>got all three lords killed and Rhea too
How did I fuck up so bad
Based
Golden Deer. I clearly made the right choice.
Doing my second playthrough as Blue Lions. The BL students aren't as endearing as GD, and the internal politics of Faerghus are not as interesting.
It was supposed to give you a different perspective on the events of the first half of the game based on the character ideologies and the themes of the house you pick. It sounds good on paper, but they just ended up reusing too much shit in return for just a few lines of dialogue and absolutely nothing else.
that's fucking hot
Gold deers the only house without gays right?
Yeah, unfortunately all of that content is in the support conversations, so all the missions and monastery shit is as repetitive as it gets
BL has the best male characters and GD has the best female characters
of course it is, black people are the most homophobic
>so many Deerchads itt
Based. They also have the best house cast to boot, even Ignatz is endearing when you consider he legitimately doesnt want to be there.
Full speed BL train as soon as they showed that time skip trailer
GD then BL, now I'm doing Edel route on maddening classic. Been stuck on ch 5 for a while now. Any tips?
>BL could've had the best boys and girls if Ingrid wasn't there
its so unfair bros
I think GD has too many awakeningish tropey characters, while some of them do get decent development I think BL has better written characters overall. BL only really has tropey stuff like that in Sylvain and Felix and in both cases largely just to subvert them later.
Yeah. Spam healing magic.
No joke. On maddening, healing gives you more EXP than killing enemies.
It would have been so easy to fix it
>some missions are similar, but the objectives and outcomes are different, with different characters dying and joining your cause aside from the main students
>some missions are exclusive to certain houses, so you learn more about their respective countries and themselves
>the missions that stay the "same" have different strategies depending on which house you pick, so Dimitri might go for a standard frontal assault while Claude uses a diversion to lure enemies to a certain spot
thanks for the tip
I think they did try to make the houses play differently and this is alluded to in the house select (GD having lots of archers, BL being mostly martial characters etc) but recruiting kind of ruins that. To be honest I think recruiting should not have been in the game outside MAYBE the church characters.
I feel like they did a pretty good job in 3H at keeping the characters away from being walking tropes, but i can see your point. The only chars i felt got too repetitive were Bernadette and Marianne, but even their cases were justifiable given the respective backstories and eventual development.
The BL cast being mostly childhood friends made for some neat interactions, and Dedue was based as fuck.
all the fags come from the empire
Isn't mercedes a gay option? The only one in BL if i am not mistaken
She was born in the Adrestian Empire though.
Played all of them and found Blue Lions the best, VW is marred by the fact that Claude is super fucking boring and does nothing all route until he gets exposition dumped by Rhea in the final few chapters. Also for a route that mentions Almyra a lot we don't even really learn anything about the place besides seeing how they act in game, which sort of justifies Fodlan's racism towards them; hell we don't even really learn much about the Alliance, Judith does jackshit when you compare her to Gilbert and Rodrigue who develop the narrative and both provide insight into Faerghus culture like how their attitudes of chivalry and honor affect all of the BL cast for better or for worse. At least VW is better than SS, which feels like a bland version of it, or CF, which plays out like bad fanfiction.
Byleth in Silver Snow isn't insane
True
True
True
A Funeral of Flowers (Silver Snow) is better
Damn you're onto something. I wonder if did they do that on purpose.
GD, because the cast is entertaining, it has the best exclusive tracks (Shambala and GSS) and full of beasts on the battlefield.
Kek
>if did they do that
You okay, user?
Shambala is on BE too user. You are right about God Shattering Star though
As far as I’m aware we didn’t get 3 different versions here
This. Let them in, goy
I legitimately do not remember it playing in BE. But then again I rushed the shit out of it because it's the house I despise.
3 fucking faggots on top of that? No please.
>even the main theme is about her
the canon route with the most impactful ending of course
At least Fates had different maps, Three Houses reuses the same maps in all routes and it pisses me off.
Careful you're going to trigger the autist
