Pretty solid gameplay behind it, the Legion system is a bit tough to grasp at first, but once you get enough skill unlocks you'll be able to pull of some sick stuff. There's some jankiness to the platforming you have to do at times, and if you're not careful during combat you can fall off ledges pretty easily, but they're not the biggest complaints.
Pacing is a bit all over, but I think the slower sections are nice to have, and they allow for some fun variations to the game while allowing you to interact more with the citizens and your fellow cops.
Music's solid, not my favorite from a Platinum title but there's some great tracks to be found.
Overall decent game, get it on sale if you're uncertain.

Total Warhammer 2 is stupid in places; the AI will burn a settlement down only to capture it the next turn, erasing 20-30 turns of player progress on the settlement for no reason. This is antithetical to Total War, as the idea of the series is losing settlements aren’t a big deal, just take them back and get back what you lost. Shogun 2 is the best example of this, as if you lost a city and took it back nothing would be lost, and looting the settlement would cause the AI if they did so to lose honour, and thus happiness. The AI is incredibly easy to cheese in battles, corner-camping is the most effective it’s ever been, mounted generals can waste all the enemy ammo making battles trivial, doomstacks exist and are far more plentiful than ever, which can result in a lack of challenge on difficulties where the AI doesn’t get cheats.
However, Warhammer 2 is still very fun to play, lots of races and starts with their own unique units, buildings, and abilities give the game high replay value and a lot of room for the player to experiment. Getting money and loot after winning battles is a great addition, Total War should reward the player for engaging in War. Overall, Warhammer 2 is a step in both the right direction and wrong direction for the series, but ends up being a good experience. 7/10

huge Half-Life fan in general, it definitely feels like one. The combine variety feels great alongside enemy variety in general.
My only criticisms is that on hard mode ammo is scarce as shit, and if you run out of ammo you're entirely fucked since melee is not an option you can take. Another one is that you're limited to three weapons, which yeah they can be upgraded and they are good in general, it's the ammo shit again where you're still lacking on it unless you scavenge hard.

A 15 vs 15 online game in which you shot each other while driving tanks, tanks destroyers and Self Propelled Guns. It's good, but too grindy and the game economy is unfair. It also features premium ammunition which is better than regular ammo in every way.

It's a fun racer that has that deep-mechanics-in-open-levels combo giving it a lot of replayability and a high skill ceiling, like Umihara Kawase in kart racer form. I payed full price but dollar per hour wise I'm already near making up for it.

It is a crafting survival game BUT the world is not static and there are factions and world dynamics beyond just what the player is doing, the AI has its own goals and interests and wanders the massive map making it feel alive as factions and individuals interact with eachother without the players input. I really wish there were some basic quests so I could just wander forever with a goal though, making your own self imposed restrictions for RP only goes so far, simple quests like escorts or town defense would go a very long way.
Definitely not a game I can recommend to everyone, it is a perfect example of love it or hate it.

It's good fun, albeit pretty easy. The dialogue is enough to keep me wanting more, the combat feels fun, and it's all around at least an 7/10.
The main thing that's annoying is just getting my two buddies to hop on their PCs and play it, we play for a few hours every few days. I just wanna spend a full day playing through it and get through a good portion of the game instead of doing two or three quests every few days.

Not as good as Spelunky, but really fun on its on way. Melee becomes completely irrelevant if you get the right setup but otherwise I think it has a healthy balance of use between ranged and Melee (with the exception of bosses).
Super fun with friends. 8/10

Neat short little game, visuals and gameplay resemble Cave Story. A bit on the easy side, most damage will come from getting too close too enemies since your melee range is very short, bosses might get you a few times before getting their moveset down. Pretty good OST, probably my favorite about it, I thought it fit the setting and overall tone of the game really well. Very straightforward story.

since i don't know anything about the other versions of AoE2 i can't say if it's better or worse than them. on it's own i like it, pretty neat RTS even if you don't min-max, especially on meme maps like the wall of relics one, or Forest Nothing.

It’s not nearly as bad as people make it out to be, but it’s still the weakest in the series by far.
It’s got some of the most tough fights in the series, a nice soundtrack, and it’s actually pretty funny at times. The problems with it are that a significant portion of the game is spent playing missions that are spread throughout the game that range from pretty fun mario party-like minigames to boring filler, the papercraft battles don’t get interesting until the 4th iteration and feel like a massive step down from giant battles, and the biggest issue that everyone points out is that the game doesn’t have a single unique character or location, draining the game of that usual Mario and Luigi charm and virtually ruining any potential for an interesting crossover. The most you’ll get out of it is a few cute lines from characters interacting with their paper counterparts.
To get any enjoyment out of this game, you have to accept that it’s not a Paper Mario crossover, it’s a Sticker Star crossover. It’s a game that’s filled to the absolute brim with wasted potential, but at the end of the day I think it’s worth a playthrough if you’re a M&L fan, it’s still got some really good bosses and music.

Avadon the Black Fortress. It lacks in presentation but there's plenty of quests and dungeons to complete, and the combat is good and you can get plenty of abilities to play around with. I like the setting and the writing. You're essentially a government agent investigating crimes against a collocation of countries known as the Pact. It's cool and gives you a reason to be in different places all over the continent
