The characters revealed so far have been in every GG, not just GG1. It doesn't mean we're getting Kliff or Justice, it just means these are the mainstays. Slayer and I-no are definitely in before those two, who are actually never evers.

Depends. I've already got a character in Ky so I'll just need to try the actual gameplay. The rollback netcode is a very nice positive. If they can add platform cross play (a standard feature in Unreal Engine nowadays) I'll be pretty much convinced.

Yeah, even if I don't like some decisions I want to support it to show choices like that matter.

I hope drift really opens up a lot of possibilities, but I'd still like to see changes such as limited gattling and auto-air tech gone. I don't think anyone enjoys those changes. The game will never be easy, they've messed with so much and it would still fry the brain of most people. Casuals struggle to understand GBVS. I can see a sweet spot between cool new mechanics, easier to use and still GG. I just don't know if they can hit it before launch.

There's BBTag and DBFZ I guess. If you're not interested in tag games then Melty Blood and UNICLR are pretty much your only options with playerbases (though you'll still have to use discord). I wouldn't even call Granblue an anime fighter from a mechanical veiwpoint.
