Dude I just got this, I have a 1080ti ryzen 7 and there are constant fps drops. What's the deal. What am I doing wrong here.

Probably your processor I guess? I have a 1060 and it works like a charm with an i7.

Since AoE2 is an old game it's likely it doesn't take advantage from multi-core processors. But this is my guess.

its just like paradox games being slow as fuck cus they run on 1 core

i guess thats it

I regret paying for shit shit, can't play one match without being disconnected and they still haven't fixed the issue.

>comfy
>that farm placements
AHHHHHHH

jeez i memed myself with that ryzen purchase.

DE has reinvigorated me and my friends' enthusiasm for AoE. In HD we used to just play turbo mode games where we'd leave wonder victory on and try to rush a wonder, but the QoL improvements make it more enjoyable to play under the ranked settings.

It's been hard to train my mind to be in multiple places at once. Early aggression fucks me up and while I can now successfully defend an early attack I still let it cripple my economy. The main thing to work on now is maintaining town center production and hitting that 100 village mark without getting to distracted.

is it installed on an ssd? if not its gonna suck ass

Pretty sure I saw that low elo legends video.

Jesus fucking CHRIST when will they post an update about Gates of hell?
>also has any else here tried out war selection? shits kinda fun for some wacky shit.
>but its very early accessy looking which is pretty gay

I was trying to play dawn of war but i can't find a good torrent of the base game.

When DE goes on sale, can I get the discount for both owning HD and the sale or does one overwrite the other?

Playan some cnc.
i am currently on the mission after the gdi commando one and how do they exepct me to actually build more?
it's somewhat hard to do that somewhat.

No, it's on my hdd. I'll reinstall it on my ssd and see how it behaves.

Total War Three Kingdoms. Running the new A World Betrayed start date with Sun Ce with Radious mod.

Not been this enthralled by a strategy game since Shogun 2.

Also this entire game is pure fucking screenshot porn.

I've taken the turnbasedpill. I don't care anymore.

I have the 2700X and no problems whatsoever, this might be some other issue.

it's from that

I have a ryzen 1600 and it's alright

not the games fault human guys disconnect on you for being a shitter, faggot!

Replaying Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath. Seriously fuck the Act III missions. Especially Croatia.

What turnbased games are ok to play besides Sengoku Rance, Advance Wars, Battle Isle and Age of Wonders Shadow Magic?

Owning HD discount was only applicable for a preorder so no

Any Blitzkrieg game
Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon
There's also Battle for Wesnoth, which is free and has basically infinite content.

But I see a "discount" bundle to buy both HD and DE right now, while already owning HD coming to 25% cheaper than just DE.
This won't stack with say the summer sale for example?

Order of Battle is alright and has a f2p trial.
I've heard Unity of Command 2 is very entry level but I haven't played it. I found Panzer Corps games hit the spot between autism and casual shit very well for me.

>Blitzkrieg
>turnbased

>what are you playing?
Having fun with the first Ground Control for the first time after having over 100 hours on World in Conflict.

What is wrong with Sacrifice difficulty level?
It's either "Novice" or "Godlike".

Why are the aoe2 reddit memes so lame?

Supreme Commander campaign followed by SC: Forged Alliance campaign.

Ignore me I'm a dumbass. I meant Panzer Corps, not Blitzkrieg.

Endless Legends

idk you ask me reddit browser

Are you into 4x? There's plenty of those out there.

I wish vanilla SupCom worked on my PC, it always crashes on launch. There was 1 lone instance where after like tenth reinstall the game launched and I even did a bit of the Cybran campaign, but from that point on it refused to work ever again.

The Deserts of Kharak campaign is really nice for a recent RTS.

I'm so glad they're making Humankind combat just normal fucking turn based system instead of EL's weirdo pre-turn order thingy.

I'm in exactly the same scenario right now. How did you get that big as artillery gun?

jesus where the cravers always that big

Wich is prefer to play of Endless Legend with no DLC or Eador?

user, the mill placement is fucked
You should only put crops on the right side of buildings.

Is Heroes III a 4X? I like Heroes III!

I have the Homeworld remastered collection but I have yet to start it.

im playing every single Command and conquer games and boy let me tell you, tiberium Dawn is not fun

Playing supcom and hoping Yas Forums games on FAF start happening again.

Attached: Mazer drop 4.webm (1920x1080, 2.89M)

wait why

They're always big boys, but the extent of their hugeness depends on how intimidating they're supposed to be in each particular picture. It's cool as hell for that particular craver to be gigantic in that pic, so he is. Maybe it could be handwaved as different castes of Cravers, since the ones in social situations are almost certainly Bishops and not Soldiers.
Well, kinda, but almost not really. It's focused on combat at the expense of everything else, calling it a turn based strategy is better than putting it into the same category as civ in my opinion.

If you get to a mission where you've seemingly done everything, but it doesn't progress, try looking about 10km below the centre of the map.

What's wrong with his farm placements? I only ever playd AoE2 casually and did the same.

WHATS GOING ON OVER THERE ALEX?

Attached: Dugan.png (1060x795, 1.23M)

Wait till you get to CnC3, it's a perfect example of why multiplayer balance patches should never ever be applied to campaigns. Especially if they do something as ridiculously drastic as lowering the tiberium regrowth rate.

the empty space between the farms and the TC triggers my autism, and it also makes the vills more vulnerable to enemies

I finished the campaign on hard and I never noticed a problem with running out of tiberium, if anything I ended with way too much on some missions

youtube.com/watch?v=uP7_2AVayno

doesn't they maximize the income though?
if you put farms close some will have to be far

Just started playing this the other day, loving it so far, and the music os fucking great.
Also is the best strategy for the Allied campaign to just spam harriers? because that seems to be working so far.
