What's the glowing spot strat? How many bells should I stick back inside?

10,000 is the maximum that matters.

Use Nook Miles Tickets to visit islands. Islands have four rocks each that can all have rock/clay/iron/gold in. Make sure you're digging holes or using existing trees/edges to stop yourself from being knocked back to get the maximum eight resources from each rock.

You should have 30 iron within 2 - 3 trips this way.

Did you get tricked into smashing all your rocks by timmy/tommy?

I see, is there a particular tool that works best with the rocks?

>NOOOO I ONLY DID IT TO SKIP THIS PART AND SOMETIMES FOR NEW ITEMS AND I WANTED TO GET TO THE END GAME WHERE I'LL STICK WITH THE GAME FOR YEARS!
I was fine when people did it without needing to fake some justification, if you just want to get everything and bounce then fine. But now they all cry about it being some valid playstyle no gate keeping.

The shovel.

The lesson here is obviously to wait in one spot for the fish to turn back around

Why is the fishing like this?

What I love about TT is they jump forward, unlock all the content, play for three days and drop it forever.
You get more mileage out of AC when you're going with the flow. Why rush?

>fish keeps consistently turning 180 degrees
>better keep following it each time it turns
Why are retards like this?

has anyone got a sofa i can catalog?

People talk about just wanting to play decorating, but getting all that stuff is a much slower grind than what comes before. You check in to get a few items, maybe go see a friend's for what they have and then make do. If you time travel to get it all, you are left with an okay decorating game and nothing else to do.

Only Stringfish

Attached: pleb.png (1635x1222, 2.49M)

that's not how AC work

1 or 2 days after your last villager moves in after setting up the three houses

If you catch 6 stringfish you get a DIY for a guitarfish

what does throwing bells back inside do?

Anyone hosting?

I have some royal crowns I can spare, if you wanna duplicate them and skip the money grind. You only need one, so you only get one.

is it just me or is fishing in new horizons objectively more grindy? I feel like I've caught more sea bass in the last 4 days then i have playing new leaf for years.

Eat shit, AC is all about a relaxed trickle of options that eventually lead to big payoffs in decor/layout. Time travelling to get everything instantly is the exact opposite of how AC works.

>Money "grind"
Ah, I forgot how playing the damn game was grinding.

It makes a money tree, wich grows three of the same bag you put in, so trippeling your investment

I'm losing my fucking mind trying to catch this Ranchu and Marlin I swear to god. All the bait I have to make is driving me crazy.

You have to donate bugs and fish to Tom Nook. A total of 5 in any combination and he'll give you an axe recipe. I didn't realize this, either. That's also how you get the museum AND the river crossing pole.

Ye. It's a pain.

post you're hot items
>water pump

lmao no

Are the donations gone forever?
Do they have to be unique?

Honestly my "comfy" AC experience is when I'm financially well off and I can afford to get any new items I want or to build infrastructure and improvements. I can't do that when I'm focused on the sheer amount of bells I need when I'm trying to upgrade my home. I always speed run just to get my house maxed out and put a couple million in the bank, and then I can revert to normal time and play casually.

Thanks, got it. Now to try to leave with all this spam.

anyone got good turnip prices?

Attached: 4124124124124.png (1733x871, 1.44M)

they're automatically placed in the museum once it is built. Yes, they have to be unique.

They'll get placed into the museum once it opens. I think they do have to be unique.

>turnips for 75 bells
>turnips for 70 bells
>turnips for 60 bells
I guess the turnip market crashed in my island, I really hope the price will go up soon.

thanks for the crown user. mind if i fish for a while on your island?

Thanks

But it's raining. You'll get wet.

Also this is South America. There's tons of sharks because it's techincally summertime

I just furnished the houses for the 3 villagers. Do I have to invite villagers later on or will they randomly move in?

sounds sweet

What do you do in this game? mundane tasks all day?

>swarms of peacocks by day I can barely breath in my garden
>swarms of emperors at night
Plant a little flower garden, receive free money.

Attached: tarot-emperor.jpg (1200x1976, 181.85K)

If you didn't invite villagers from nook miles ticket island, they will be random

It took me around 60, 80 for a tuna :(

Bullshit, you'll just end up time travelling again when the shops don't have the items you want. You already get enough bells to buy whatever you want, and the slow trickle is in pace with getting things to fill your house.

They'll move in one by one over the next three days. Check the sold sign outside each house to see who's moving in where, anybody you invited from nook miles islands will be moving in, the rest of the three villagers will be random.

Aw yis, my ATM machine finally sells a recipe for normal fences.
It costs fucking 6 softwood to make and I'm guessing you only get one fence at a time?

>Hitting the money rock every day is playing the game!!! It's totally not grinding bruh! It's like saying catching hundreds of the same fish or hitting the same trees dozens of times every day is grinding, there's just no way!
Bruh, AC is a fucking grindcore game, playing AC IS grinding.

I still have about 6 or 7 crowns remaining. I know I could make as many as I wanted but I don't feel like it. Better get it before it's patched out.

Attached: file.png (1280x720, 1.6M)

Where do I get iron ?

Do you have to bait, fish, bait fish or do you throw a ton of bait and wait until some special shadow shows up?
