Should I sell my ps4 pro for a Switch? I've been disappointed with every single exclusive on it

Stuff like animal crossing, luigis mansion and breath of the wild look really fun.

yes, just don't get Xenoblade 2

Why, is it really bad?
I thought about getting that but only if you can play with the japanese voices and subtitles on. The english dub makes me cringe.

yeah you can do subbed
it's a PS4 tier shitty movie game though and the combat is braindead autocombat with convoluted bs on top of it
some cool level design in the open areas and Morag is hot

>he doesnt have both

breath of the wild's pretty good

I got that fucking shit recently and I was so pissed. Such a boring piece of shit. What a waste of 50 dollars. Fucking auto-battle can kiss my ass.

Wait until FF7 remake comes out before you do that. That shit looks fire.

Ignore this bitter faggot who obviously never played the game.
Also, get Three Houses and join the glorious Adrestian Emprie.

If you're super hyped for
>child game
>bing wahoo
>ubisoft presents: rape a franchise
Then yeah probably. You belong with Nintendo.
Make sure to grab xenoblade 2 also.

I sold my Switch a few days ago. Only fun I've had was Links Awakening and XC2. Rest of the games were pretty mediocre, especially BOTW babbys first open world game and Oddysey.

I had an old Switch model so I was able to hack it which was more fun than most of the games.

>Should I sell my ps4 pro for a Switch?
WHY NOT BOTH???

Seriously. I have both. Switch is my main for Nintendo goodness. PS4 for fighters and Kojima hackery. Save up and keep both. Selling vidya is a fool's game. You never know when you might want to play something locked on another platform.

if you enjoy jrpgs then get it. it is a wholesome experience, aside from a filler part in the middle. i got some jolly 2000 shounen anime vibes from it

No, it's not. You have to embrace a shitload of anime tropes and cringe, though. That said, I really enjoyed it, nonetheless. Everyone who grew up with shonen anime feels right at home with XC2. The world building and soundtrack are excellent. And what's wrong with jacking off to sexualized anime girls? If you're looking for a JRPG that keeps you occupied during your quarantine, go get it.

As someone who has both and prefers nintendo consoles I wouldnt reccomend it. I don't like a lot of Sony exclusives but the ps4 has a better and wider library in general. And on switch once you play the staples such as zelda, mario, smash, etc, it doesn't offer a whole lot. The games are way too expensive, especially ports of older games that you could probably find for 70% cheaper on ps4. The online hasn't gotten any better since the wii/Wii u yet they have the gull to charge for it still. Even if its cheaper online the point being Nintendo still jew'd themselves out.

Tl;dr: get a switch only if you want a smash machine to play with friends or like playing overpriced underpowered ports of games already on pc/other consoles.

Get Dragon Quest XI S, its fucking great and the additions the Switch version has makes it even better.

Xenoblade 2 was horrible user.
I love me some Three Houses, though. That's some good shit.

Lets put it this way

Sony have announced every single ps4 game coming out this year

Nintendo have only announced games for the first 3 months of the year

Nintendo's lineup still looks better

As a fellow Switch owner, I completely agree.

get a ps vita instead

Why?

Only get a vita if you care about emulation. Otherwise the Vita has a skeleton crew for a library. And yes thr anime VN meme on vita is true because that's about all it has. I guess you could play uncharted on it if you enjoy boring 30 hour movie games or borderlands at 10fps.

almost all english weeb stuff is available on other platforms, so get it only if you know japanese well enough to read novels

I mean if you want to.
Just know that Switch won’t be able to play Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Resident Evil 3 Remake and Cyberpunk 2077, If you’re interested in those games.
But if you’ve got a good PC then yeah sell the PS4 lol.

>if you have a good pc just sell your ps4.

This. Only get a ps4 if you actually care about sony's 30 hr movie games.

I've only used my PS4 for Kingdom Hearts, Death Stranding, and RDR2.

I've used my switch for BoTW, Smash, Animal Crossing, Splatoon 2, Katamari Damacy Remake (had the OG for ps2 and wanted to relive), Untitled Goose Game, Stardew Valley, and I just got Nintendo Online so I am looking forward to playing the first couple of Zelda games on the Virtual Console.

As far as my personal habits go, if I had to give one up I'd give up my PS4. I use my switch more. While I don't only play exclusives on it, It's fun being able to play wherever I want (for like three hours or whatever).

Hope this helps.

There's not much reason to own a ps4 in current year cause the ps5 will play all the ps4 games but they'll run and load better, so yeah do it faggot

Ignore him. I literally bought a switch to play xenoblade 2 and it was worth every penny. Mythra is best girl.

T. Seething copeing tranny

Since you haven't gotten a switch yet you are not in a hurry. Since you have time, save up money to buy the switch and then decide if you want to sell your ps4 or not afterwards.

kys already

Good luck actually getting ahold of a swtich right now

Basically this I sold my cool ass laptop cause it was already old for games and bought a ps4 back in late 2018 and then sold in couple months and bought a switch instead (i had mostly exclusives for ps4). If you have a PC - then sell it if you already think about it. I only've beaten Uncharted 4, tried last guardian and gravity rush 2 - couldn't bother with them. If you don't have a good pc - i recommend having both of the consoles.

how are you going to afford your operation though

Eh, I have a PC that's more powerful than my Pro. And I pirate most of my shit. I just wanna play games online with my gf and stuff. Not really looking for multiplats. Just bing bing wahoo unironically

>Windows, Android
Based Apple Chads

Sell it as long as you still get some money out of it, PS5 is on its way.

Good point but Death Stranding bored the fuck out of me. Am halfway through it and I can't really stand it anymore. Also my save file got fucked by the update too and it ruined everything for some reason.
I'm glad I didn't spend my money on that shit

Switch is out of stock everywhere. And probably will be for at least 3 months.

Well that's a letdown

Where can I find the switch hacking threads?

Just use the archives user

Child game sounds better than a boring movie game to be honest.

yeah no reason to have a ps4 until ps5 besides having a netflix/twitch/youtube box

Yes you can. If you want to play your PS4 games again down the line you could just buy a PS5,

Nah, he's an idiot. If you like the waifus and the mechanics it's a fine game. Story isn't bad either. His reaction is pretty much a meme equivalent to shitposting.

You clearly have shit taste, as Three Houses is merely okay. Another shit nu-FE For casuals and fujoshi. Still a shit tier fire emblem game.

You probably have no idea how the combat works, do you ?

I'm assuming the exclusive are not your genre. Then yeah. Or you can build a PC.

It couldn't afford apple products

>Wasn't even that long ago but original Nintendo switch now cost MORE
>Prefer playing on TV
>Games never drop in price physical and digital
>Weak as shit but still expensive for all models
>No features at all
>OVERPRICE accessories that are mandatory

HOW
THE
FUCK
IS
THIS
FAIR?

ONLY NINTENDO GETS AWAY WITH OVERPRICING EVERYTHING.

I own both and I am actually thinking about selling my switch

How do you even play console games these days without pirating? You eventually have to spend thousands of dollars, don't you?

>every single exclusive
Even Bloodborne?

There's other games than Bloodborne on the PS4?

Attached: Entering a Xenoblade Chronicles 2 thread.webm (320x180, 1.92M)

I liked Bloodborne but even that gets boring

Depends on if you like nintendo games more than sony games. Nioh 2 is a new PS4 exclusive which I believe is really worth playing though. If you didn't like Nioh 1, then don't bother.

>

I own both and yeah you probably should
Since I got my switch in June I've probably spent 40 hours on ps4 and 2000 on switch

Ps4 is knocking on deaths door
Unless you are interested in the crappy episodic final fantasy there's no other games coming out for you

Doesn't have as much replay value as the dark souls games or even demon souls
I beat it twice and have no desire to touch it again

Eh at least the pro controller is well made
My small army of ds4s with stick drift or broken charging ports has actually convinced me to switch to xbox next gen

This
beat the game once and didn't even wanna touch it again. Dark souls 1 is way funner. So is demon souls.
Every single ps4 controller I've bought so far has had a stick drift issue too. This issue becomes even more apparent when I use a dualshock 4 on pc.

Switch for nintendo games
PC for fighters and kojima
>ftfy

If you are OP and you say you have a PC then why tf you got a pro over a switch? Unless you need to play 1/10th of ff7 with movie graphics, theres no reason. And if TLOU2 is a reason someone says to keep it, spit on them for having such shit taste

I wasn't really interested in the Switch back when I first got a ps4. I fell for the PS4 exclusive memes from this board though and that's what made me buy one.

Now that animal crossing is out though I think it's one of the biggest reasons why I want a switch.
But also because I think the exclusives appeal to me more. It's much cheaper to play online with a switch too.
