Play Banner of the Maid

Play Banner of the Maid.
Seriously, it's a pretty good SRPG and the Napoleonic theme is neat

looks more like a shitty vn, but ok i'll bite

Tried it, liked the character designs, haven't been drawn in by the story or gameplay though.

It does, and there's a VN element in that you have to court different factions, but I actually like the battles. There's elements of Fire Emblem and FFT and it's pretty good

I'm playing Bladestorm on the side, and it's already too much French for me. Last thing I need is MORE Frenchies.

nice
ill have to check this out

Ok

>wu flu voices instead of japanese or better yet, location accurate croissant-ese
Disgusting.

It was disorienting but I kind of like the chink voices.

Chink VA? Interest instantly gone. Absolutely atrocious language.
>gong jing ching wie bu fao hu shu gong dong chong jie hao bao wong

Good taste, user. Chinese language is disgusting.

I like the battles a lot. The cute girls and napoleonic setting make it even better.

ive been keeping my eyes on this game but my chinese is abysmal. is it in english yet ?

Text is, voice is still Chinese
I feel you when dealing with chinks in real life, the language can get kinda grating but in game it sounds kinda nice 2bh

Do it have a good translation yet?

It's readable, still kind of stilted.

Game is way fucking better than I expected, Im around chapter 16 now and my biggest gripe with the game is that light infantry are way too fucking good.

I don't mind the chinese itself but the fact that the characters just utter a couple words here and there instead of fully voicing the dialogue. I just turned voices off.

Is there a list of exactly what each stat does? E.g. how leadership affects morale increase and healing.
Also I noticed that pauline's 1-2 range musket says it makes it harder for her to get doubled, is that true or does it just make it harder for her to double enemies? Anything else like that?

Any general strategy tips? I taught all my units the +accuracy skill since I didn't want to miss, but I wonder if that was a waste of skill points.

Accuracy is kind of useless but helps a ton if you're trying to fight against a disadvantaged matchup, or dealing with light infantry in general. It's fine as a filler skill but most unit types can get something stronger later in the game. Promoting units is expensive, especially if you need to buy the badge.

that feel when you couldn't save the king

>Stonewalled at chapterr 17 with Anne's artillery barrage and the fuckton of assholes on the two side routes that take no bullet damage

I swear to fucking god I *will* beat this bitch into the ground I want that advanced commendation

Wait is this actually a competent SRPG? I always thought it was just a nukige so I just ignored it.

as far as I can tell it's a real, decent SRPG, it just has girls in titty dresses

Light Infantry are king.
Horse units like Oscar and Charlotte are your friends.

A majority of the enemy foot units are also Light Infantry. Any Line Infantry user not named "Paulina" suffers from a hefty disadvantage in combat by the enemy compositions dicking them over.

And since the rest of the foot mobiles are Line Infantry, the Lights beat them in combat anyways.

They're either enemy-phase combat monsters: Adelaide and Ernestine

Or 2-range player phase monsters: Cosette and Nicolette

Yes, fucking promote Nicolette into a Light Infantry. The Est is worth investing resources into (for once).

These four units make up the core of your foot mobiles.

Your other units worth investing in are:
* Oscar (Promote into Grenadiers a Cheval) who is your primary bulk tank and enemy phase monster
* Charlotte (Same as above, but less tanky and Light Cavalry)
* Laure (Another 2 range player phase unit that can also give your team a range buff)
* Phillip (debuffer on a horse)

You *have* to take advantage of skills, passives, and terrain. Example: Light Cavalry get *massive* buffs if they are attacking from the flanks and it's a game changer, or setting up Oscar to charge in with Aegis active for a fat burst damage on a key target.

Terrain is huge in this game. It gives *far* more significant buffs or debuffs than in Fire Emblem.

It's legit. Excellent SRPG and the bonus objectives in missions can get brutal. Also Anne is cute and I want her to teabag me.

A good VN would let you fuck the cuties.

What is this picture trying to state?

If it didn't have waifus would you give a fuck?

I don't want to spread my exp too thin. How many units can you deploy in late game missions?

Yes.
It's an interesting mix of mechanics from other SRPGs and Napoleonic France is an underused setting. The waifus are just icing on the cake.

is this a degenerate hentai game? post hcg

It's not, the titty dresses are genuinely as lewd as it gets. Think Azur Lane but an actually good tactics game instead of a JPEG collector

I'm a brainlet, can you grind and overlevel content?

What's better, this game or the Langrisser 1&2 remakes?

>SRPG
What does S stand for, shitty?

Strategy.

Nah it seems more like the Fire Emblem model where you have a few gaiden chapters but that's it.

I think you can lower the difficulty setting if you really suck

but its tactical rpg, where's strategy?

I don't understand, why should i play this chink weeaboo shit with no jap dubs when i can just play new Fire emblem?

srpg has been used for (jap) games like this for a long time, it stands for "simulation role playing game". No, it has nothing to do with simulation, but it also has nothing to do with role playing so whatever

>chink shit
No thanks

Fuck off chinks. Japanese master race.

Japs call it SLG, not SRPG.

You can click on the stats to see tool tips on what they affect. Pauline's Experimental Musket applies -2 speed check so that makes it harder for enemies to chase attack. (a unit needs 2x the speed of the opponent to chase)

You don't really need to + any stat via skill or items as long as you keep to the weapon circle(the str/weakness thing). The situational skills are more important, like the light infantry's ignore-terrain skill. Next important skills are the debuff ones, they help you gangbang enemy units.

Because some of us are both non-Asian and not invested in the intraracial struggles of another race, leaving us free to consume good tactics games?

i'd rather read a book

You mean you are deaf.

I've heard "role playing simulation game" in fire emblem commercials for instance. What does SLG stand for and when is it used?

>chinkroaches made the french revolution waifushit

absolutely dégoûtant

Attached: fleurdelys.jpg (1182x1680, 287.73K)

Not really, there are repeatable side-missions for grinding your benched units, but the XP drops off immensely once you match your enemies' level. The game is still largely decided by the weapon circle, a low level heavy Calvary can still overpower a higher level light calvary

They added an easier difficulty where you can choose buffs or something, haven't tried it.

I don't read nip but

Attached: Capture.png (1515x605, 225.89K)

It's totally ok when Japan does it though.

isn't she supposed to be king arthur?

Anyway it's not okay, Fate is horsehit of the hightest degree.

>Saber
>totally ok
You know there's a reason our version of Arthur is canon and extremely popular, right? Even amongst guys.

Attached: Arthur_Proto.png (340x602, 263.79K)

Is it fan translated of official?

official, and as official i mean them chinks weeaboo just slapped all of their shit on google translate and call it a day

official but it's by the devs themselves, who aren't professional english translators.

Meh, if the menu and game explanations make sense then I'll take it. This has been on my radar

this
