the difference with enemy on assisted and normal is pretty drastic, he not as aggressive, hardly sprints and his punches do jackshit damage and he goes down easy, on normal hes pretty tough, which can be mitigated if you can dodge well and/or cheese him. not a fan of the stunlocking bullshit he can get you into sometimes (out of all the things they keep from the original, they keep that) also the way he appears and disappears is pretty wack. literally spiderman. it was terrifying when you heard the music in the original and hear him sprinting towardsa you, you didnt really care that he had obviously been spawned from offscreen but here the way he slides down and wall like a superhero or how he gingerly goes through a door is pretty comical

RE3 is more tense and stressful than it is scary.

Scary comes from a lot of things, and RE3 only has one : pressure. The visual, location, soundtrack, are all really bad at making you feel scared. RE1 nailed all those aspect, and if anything only missed one : pressure. I think that what they wanted to do with the Hunters, but they didn't really work.

I am now imagining a pursuer within REmake, and I agree it's the most terrifying this ever.
